lol, so wait.. that dude really did lie about his picture? That's not his setup?

Wow.. people are weird.

I just think puberty has hit him like a shovel.
Just take a quick look at his other posts. That should explain everything...

Let's hope that's all it is.

I mean, if a person feels the need to lie about something as stupid as that to a bunch of people who don't matter.. I can only imagine what he lies about in his everyday life.

The monitor is on a wallmount that can "float" the monitor up or down. It uses a gas piston thing inside the wallmount. It has a wide range of motion. When I sleep I just push the monitor straight up. The bottom of the monitor becomes even with the top of the iMac.

If I were you I'd swing that thing behind the iMac :) Careful those gas pistons can wear out after a couple of years (and they usually do it in the winter).

Have you guys tried the Pong Clock screensaver? :D way cooler!

Minitor 4 FTW!! Nice setup from a fellow fireman :)

Hahaha, thanks! I know a lot of people will be looking at my picture trying to figure out what the hell that device is.

Also, the Minitor 4's are sooooo much better than the 5's. I'm guessing you're a volly as well? What department?

Yeah. I saw that pic in one of the first editions of this thread, and I'm pretty sure it was back in the PPC days

this would be my (really old) computer. I am gonna be using for a few more months till i get my hands on a Sandy Bridge Macbook pro which I will take to college. Unlike some enterprising young members here, none of this was bought by me.:D

and my dad's setup that i use to do anything w/ photoshop or edit some video
iMac 7,1 for those wondering. the mouse is a NX80 from logitech. the two HDDs beside the computer are both 1TB Western Digital because my dad takes a huge amount of photos.

Yes, that, and the fact that it uses its own battery.

Ya, I'm still rockin a III  Don't really care as it still works, but the guys that do have the V's have had nothing but problems with them

I'll be getting the same, and I really can't wait since my 2007 MBP is really starting to show its age (and that 3GB RAM limit really hurts). In your sig, you say you're getting an iPT 4g... you going to get one once it comes out, or wait until you can get one free with your MBP purchase? Personally, I'm going to do both. An iPT 2g with iOS 4 really doesn't work well, so I need a new one ASAP!

Haha nice. Which ones yours and which is hers :D

I imagine the one on the right is his. Newer computer, fancier screen, and a fan to calm himself when Apple makes a new product announcement. His wife obviously doesn't get so worked up. Flowers will suffice.

No offense, but I like her setup better. :p

wow! impressive setup! what do you do with those machines?

The one on the left doesn't do much. Its an old G5 that a buddy of mine was going to eWaste since he got a new Mac Pro. I took it from him and got it working. The wife just surs the web, checks email, and does photo stuff on it.

The Mac Pro on the right is mine and is complete over kill for me. I bought it with plans to do some video editing and heavy photo editing but have not done much of it yet. With our new baby coming I'm sure that will change a bit but the machine will still be overkill. I only bought it since I had a Developer buddy who was getting hooked up on a deal and he added a machine for me. The 30inch ACD I bought used from someone on here for $1000 I think. I love it!
