Brand new 21.5" iMac. Great to have it after about 2 months of just a 13" MBP :D

Is that the Jonas desk from Ikea? What finish is it? Is it possible to move the drawers to the other side?

I don't think that is the Jonas desk from Ikea. The Jonas desk I have (non drawer version) has a wider top and more desk space. I have the one that has the L section that can be pulled out for more room. But it looks like that desk in the pictures does not have a movable drawer system. The Jonas one I looked at with the drawer was the same way, that is why I got one with the L section.

Stef Mesman's Setup - 17-08-10

side of desk:
3 power sockets where installed on the side. with a hole behind them to lead a cable with a plug to the back compartment.

Where'd you find a power strip that's triangular like that? I can't find one anywhere.

i got one from a local shop. its used in kitchens mostly. they are super expensive for just a set of 3 sockets thou. 40 euros. but u might wanna check at a kitchen store. or google ''kitchens sockets'' ;) u will find results.

Looks to me like it is the Jonas. The one with the drawers is a different size than the "L" shaped one. Based on the pictures on Ikea's site (Birch vs. Black-Brown) it looks like drawers can go on either side.

Eugh, I've just spent the past hour looking through this whole thread procrastinating about tidying up my office ready for a party tomorrow and also in preparation for a new desk setup. Figured I'd look at a few pictures for inspiration before I got going. Oops!!

Loads of fantastic set ups in here everyone!

That photo *really* makes me want to go out and pick up a second hand Quicksilver just because of how beautiful it looks!

Ditto. I think it's my personal favorite out of any mac, as far as looks go. Maybe the iMac G4 is up there too, but the quicksilver is just awesome, provided no one stuck a zip drive in it. That scuffs the clean look a bit

Agreed, but then I remember how loud the fans were in those machines...

a little old fashioned.

i don't have a magic mouse or wireless keyboard. but honestly, i would rather have the magic trackpad now. i have loved the features of the trackpad on the MBP, so...that is the direction I am heading.

EDIT: I changed the desktop wallpaper.

My QS just sits under the desk anymore, the only time it gets used is for internet when my MB is restoring or updating. The poor thing has seen better days,it's kinda in retirement now.
