Desk Setup:

5038191455_3ccc0e0b4e_z.jpg

12" PowerBook 1,5 GHz, 1,25 Gb Ram, 120Gb
HP L2335 23" monitor
Old G4 keyboard
Logitech Cordless Trackman Wheel

Color on the monitor isn't that weird actually.

Media setup:

5038190729_8ab950f7be_z.jpg

Mac mini 2,53 GHz, 4 GB Ram, 320Gb
Samsung UE40B6000
Altec Lansing FX6021

I normally control this setup completely via Air Mouse on iPad, so the mouse and keyboard aren't always there.

Both pics taken with iPhone 3GS, so crappy quality.

The set up with the brand spankin new 27 incher. How I edited photos on a 13" Macbook is beyond me.

I'm editing photo's on a 13" MacBook Pro and it doesn't affect me one bit. I mean it would be great to have a nice 27" monitor but with my budget as a full time college student it's not happening anytime soon!!! ;)

Nice setup. Love the monochrome photo. :) How do you like the Creature speakers?

P.S. For those of us with less than 27" iMacs could you change your img tags to timg tags. Thanks.

Haha sorry about that! The speakers are an excellent bang for your buck. Ive had them for about 4 years and they are still running strong. Sound quality is excellent and they get plenty loud. I def recommend them.

I've had it for almost 3 years:]
i love this machine! it is a bit dirty atm. i should clean it soon.
i've been hooked on my ipad for awhile, the macbook hasn't seen much action lately.

Yeah, the dirt just builds up over time, I suppose. Nothing wrong with that :)

The MacBook is a bit grubby... :p I suppose it happens over time.

It's wierd, I see that most people's White MacBook are grubby and dirty yet mine is nearly a year old (Oct. 25) and it is still white... though my mainly stays in my bedroom and nor do I have grubby hands :p

I had one of these Macbooks. I sold. You know why? I couldnt live with all that dirt :(

But I have a tip: use Mr. Clean! Its a sponge that will certainly clean all that dirt!

You have a modest setup but you know what? You have a macbook and an iPad! Thats the perfect combination, I believe.
I hope nobody gets offended, but there are people who have the ultimate macbook pro + ultimate iMac 27" + last iPhone + iPad. The majority doesnt need nothing more than a Macbook, but have everything that Apple offers. Its kind of a disease. Consumerism. "I need, I need, I need".

No, you dont need. The companies make you believe that you need.

By the way, you have a clean table! Liked that!

Sorry about quality. quick iphone email

Glass tables are really beautiful but I dont have one just for one reason: you can see all the goddamn cables under the table. It gives a "messy look".

I have a tip: you can buy a large sticker (white, black, whatever...) and paste under the table. It wont be transparent anymore, but you will have a shiny table.
Well, only if you are not comfortable with the wires. But... who am I to advise you? :p

Nice setup! Looks like futuristic.
