What are your walls made of or what gives them that grainy texture?

Well the walls are about 70 years old plaster with probably 20 different coats of paint so it gives them quite a dimpled effect.

Thanks for the other comments as well as I've just recently switched over my entire system over to Mac from Windows. Its been fun remodeling the office to accomodate these stylish machines.

New Setup!

I moved into a new place a few months ago and haven't gotten around to posting yet, so here it is! Apologies for the bad lighting, I was in a hurry My setup as follows: 15" MacBook pro 2.8ghz on the rain stand, 22" Dell LCD on NEO-Flex arm, a pair of KRK rokit's on isolation pads and homemade shelves, run through an Apogee one interface.

Thanks. Those are actually chess pieces. They glow so bright with the blacklights behind them.
A set is up on eBay now starting at $20. Someone else is trying to sell it for $150 on Amazon (yikes!).

Decided to pull the desk off the wall, and swing it around. I also pulled out a hole saw and drilled four 2.5" holes into the table. I was then able to route all the wires into/under the table & out of sight.

Bookarc? .. I know, I know. I'll get to it. I think I'll be painting part of the room next. I got the pool table put together, so I'll be putting that into place, and adding the light fixture above the table. Hopefully pick up a new TV to put on the wall in the next month as well. The man cave will be ready by super bowl sunday. I hope .....
