Wow that's a cool table :D

I think I'd use one of those white cable conduits that people run along walls, run your cables down the back of the monitor, and from the table surface to the wall in a straight shot (that is, so that straight ahead it's invisble and you'd only see it from the sides).

Then just have the white conduit go straight down to the floor.

Barring that, you could just grab a white DVI cable and a white power cord (they exist), use some white velcro ties to make it look really clean and then just have it hang down like a normal cable. Computers have cables, as long as it's not getting in your way it's ok XD

Had a surge of energy for some reason and decided to de-clutter, and organize my desk...

Here's the final outcome:

Still cluttered though compared to other setups, but for me, this is a breath of fresh air...!

Just bought this glass desk. Can you guys suggest how I hide these cables? I know I can wrap the cables to the table's legs, but then how would I hide the cables from the monitor to the legs?

I really like that desk!

What you could do for the cables, if you have some carpentry skills, is build a rig that attaches to the VESA mount on the back of the monitor that would hold the MBA and surge protector. Then everything would be centralized, so the only cable you'd need to run is the surge strip power cable, which is white, so it shouldn't be a huge problem (IMHO).

It may not look good from the side, but head-on it should look very clean.

I had a MacBook for a couple of years and doing any kind of work on the 1280x800 screen drove me crazy. The Vaio fit my budget perfectly and had more power than any MBP at the time to boot, more importantly it had a 1920x1080 screen. :D

I do wish it ran OS X, but man.. I'm a nerd, I love all kinds of computers :)

Koncept Z-bar LED lamp. Dell Ultrasharp 2407 LCD 24" monitor. The latest model is the U2411.

Now tell me how to hide the cables. :)

The following method is only for those with macroorchidism.

1. take table outside, near garden hose.
2. get a diamond tipped hole saw
3. while running the water, cut a hole in the glass.
4. then drop the cables right down the side of the table legs.

Total revamp of my setup. Moved out of another room, got a new desk and Cinema Display. Picked up a BookArc for Air yesterday at the Apple Store too.

*Also, took these pics with my iPhone 4, so I had to (crappily) photoshop it back into its regular spot in the first pic. :D

Your best bet would be to cut a hole in the wall behind the monitor. Thats what I did. This is the outlet under my desk (which is also glass):
For the lamp, run the cable along the leg.

Also where did you get the desk?

Messing up your wall like that is rough, especially if you have insulation in that wall. XD

Most newer houses don't have many inner walls...

Also: I think you have the blue top desk with the curvy upside down V legs. I recognize that cross member. XD

It's going to be tough with that glass table. My recommendation if you don't want to cut a whole in the table, is to try and mount a black power strip to the back of table mount (So all you will have is one cord coming from the table to your closest outlet instead of several). Then use a couple of these (pictured below) to try and direct the cables where you would like them to go alongside the legs of the table. This will not completely hide all cables, but it will do a pretty good job. I sometimes have to do this at work, when we're setting up business partner offices and they have custom desks flown in from wherever.
