I would like to know what desk that is too...

I dont live in America so no one will probably be able to get it. I got it from a store called BHV and I dont think they sell it anymore.

Yes im powering my monitors with normal ac plugs. And TRS (jack) for signal. They are active speakers of 140watts each

New MBA in the house...

Finally got rid of my 2009 17" MBP which was rendered less than useful since I picked up a Mac Pro a few month ago.

Decided an 11" MBA (4GB/128GB) was the way to go.
Nifty little machine- this thing boots in 15 seconds.

Loving it.

I hadn't thought about connecting my BW's to the USB port of the camera kit on my iPad - does that work ok?

it works really well... i am no sky audiophile myself but the difference between hooking your iPad2 up to speakers via the headphone jack and maintaining the digital signal via USB + camera kit is pretty noticeable, it's much cleaner when you go USB over a stereo cable

Nope. Im going to upgrade my speakers, and I might hide the wiring in the wall, but the iMac on the wall is the best option for me.
