@macnerd93 Why not have your Mac mini running both your plex server and iTunes server rather than running a separate machine for iTunes?

My setup is a 3,1 Mac Pro, 10 GB RAM, 4 TB HDD, GeForce GT 120 + 24" ACD, 11" MacBook Air 1.4 ghz 4 GB RAM 64 SSD
13" MacBook Pro 2.3 ghz i5 4 GB RAM (2011)
40" Samsung LCD TV
iPhone 4
and all the cables are nicely managed by techflex sleeving :D

It's finally all finished. Put the Craftsman tool chest in this weekend. It mostly hold cable and repair tools for guitars.

The white box on the front right leg of the desk is actually a Belkin remote. I've wired the desk so that when I hit that switch the 3 displays, audio monitors and all USB controllers will turn on.

I hate wires showing so I went to great lengths to hide them.

I hate wires too! you did a great job hiding them.. nice setup..

@macnerd93 Why not have your Mac mini running both your plex server and iTunes server rather than running a separate machine for iTunes?

Because my Mac mini only has a 160 gig hard drive, this is enough for my films & top gear episodes, but there isn't enough room for my 15 gig music collection and then all my iPhone & iPad apps, the G4 is a dedicated machine & has a 250gig hard drive in it with plenty of space left over & quite frankly I have more than enough macs to do the jobs as single task machines :D

Just graduated from the Missouri School of Journalism on Friday!!! :D

Still working through different companies/offers/plans for my career path, so I'll probably be home for a little while. (Maybe a few months, but hopefully just a couple weeks).

Anyhoo, I forgot my 24" monitor at school. Son of a gun. I don't care to drive 240 miles to get it, so this is my temporary solution:

I am in Finland and we have IKEA yet whenever we go to IKEA we drive up to Sweden...... maybe we just like the idea of traveling to a foreign country to go shopping. :)

There's some really amazing setups in this thread. Haven't looked through the other 13 threads yet but getting some brilliant ideas for my new setup. I've got a 2007 MBP on it's way that should be here this week so when that arrives, I'll finish my setup and get a pic posted :)

Sorry I don't. The walls were green when we bought the house. :)

Ok thank you anyway, will try to color match. Love your setup, though. Nice and clean--except for the cables. Maybe make your way back to Ikea for the cable organizers :)

Just bought a new monitor, keyboard, mousepad, laptop, bookarc basically everything is new :D saved up all by myself
