Most recent setup, taken with my iPhone 4, 19 yr old graphic design student workspace. :D

I really wish I knew why some people feel compelled to share their ages on here. I don't see what relevance your age has on your setup, just show the setup no one asked for a bio imo.

The older MacBook Pro's look cool, But they were badly built. I had one. The lid never shut properly(there was a gap between the lid and the bottom, I did some research and found out this is a widespread problem. Most of the non-unibodys seem to have it), Sleep mode almost never worked for some reason(The laptop kept randomly turning back on and off), and the most annoying thing was how hot it got after just about 30 - 40 minutes of use. I used that laptop for about 2 years and then the logic board failed.

Hmm don't have those problems with mine yet and the computer is 3 years old. I am a little concerned about the potential for the 8600M GT problem that might arise with this computer, but as I understand it, it will be covered by apple care. Other than that, this computer is great to use for being just $350.

your really making me want one of those, there is a apple reseller that still has one of these (boxed) but its 17inch if it was 15 i would have bought it instantly.

I would love the 17"! I have always wanted a 17 and even got a Santa Rosa one for a bit, but sold it for a cool $700. Someone wanted it even more ;).

Many users share their set-up in place of an introduction to the community here, others just want to relate their style to their age. I don't see anything wrong with the former or the latter. It makes this thread all the more enjoyable in my opinion.

Also some people like to brag about their ability to secure such gear at their young age. I see that just as immaturity and naivety. It's alright. We all grow up!

While I understand where you're coming from I disagree. I have noticed that the majority of people who add their ages tend to be those under age 21 and it has nothing to do with relating their style. It's more like a bragging technique. As in "look at all that I have and i'm just a kid". Unless someone specifically asks I really don't feel adding "and i'm 19" makes anything more impressive, thus not necessary to add imo.

Completely agreed! And honestly I think its less impressive that a teen or younger can "secure such gear". It's quite easy to do when a) your parents buy everything for you or b) you may hold down a job and pay for it yourself but your parents fund everything else i.e. Housing, food etc. I'm actually more impressed by the 30 sum year old whose married with kids and manages to take care of their whole family as well as pay the mortgage, car note/car insurance, health care, phone bill, electric bill etc on an average income and still manages to have money left over for expensive gadgets.

And because it's probably going to come up, No, I am not some old bitter person. I am a teenager myself and I just find other teens who do this to be obnoxious. And No, i'm not jealous either being an only child i've been fortunate enough to have been given a lot of stuff I probably don't even need.
