Some people actually use their computer for real work not just dicking around.. which is all those devices are good for.

Funny. My grandfather used to work for a big aerospace company back in the day. I remember him talking with my father in the late 80's about how the engineers back then felt that the "desk rodents" were useless toys that would never find real use in the industry.

It seems a lot of people in this thread have Bookshelf speakers. What advantages do they have over say, a nice set of Klipsch Promedia 2.1? My brother has a set of the Klipsch's and they are AWESOME. Are some of these Bookshelf Speakers that are ~$70 more expensive better?

new set up in the new apt.

Cable management sucks, but in the end, I do not care. Still waiting for my iMac to come in from LinMac, but so far I like this set up.

Asus MK241 (not IPS but 2ms response time with great color gamut)
Macbook Pro 2.53ghz Core 2 Duo
WD studio II x 2 for data back up - going to get a couple more of these
Swan MK10
X-armor UBLS with Cherry Brown Switches and backlight
MX anywhere mouse
steel series gaming mat 6L i think
OWC hdd for time machine
iPod 3rd Generation 20gb with remote

USB connections hooked up with this little toy

Might get a black one since it looks so much like an apple tv.

Where did you get that USB hub with the apple logo?

where did you purchased this one?I ordered the black one from ebay yesterday *waiting mode*:D

That's the iHub and it was very briefly available from MIC Store before I think they were forced to take it down. I believe they were still able to fulfill all the orders placed prior to its removal. I've got one in my setup as well...

I love my magic trackpad. Haven't used a mouse since.

:D

Actually guys it's the iHub 2. The first ihub is rounded ends. While the new one ihub 2 is squared like an apple tv.

check out ebay for ihub 2, you can get it in white or black for 11 bucks from overseas.
the ihub 1 is 5 bucks give or take.

I just did this thing called rasterbating. Yes, I know it sounds awkward, but it's not. It's where you take an image, put it through this web program, and it makes the image into 8.5x11 (or A4, A3, or other sizes of paper) sheets of paper. You then have to print out those sheets of paper and align it on a wall or other object. It also adds a dot effect.

How did you get it from the website? I couldn't find Apple on the site and also when I tried creating a google certificate the total was over $1000. I guess I could choose a corp. with a lower stock price, but even if I did if forces me to buy a frame that is $500 or the more expensive ones. How did you get yours?

After a bit of online research I found out the following:
Apple stopped issuing paper stock certificates in November 2010, so you cant get them anymore. They now only do electronic registration and dont issue the paper stock certificate.

Oh well :( I would have loved to have something like that :apple:
