I'm guessing the camera in question is a Canon EOS 5D Mk II ;)

I really like the soft touch of the photo. Would you mind sharing what you did to the pic in photoshop ?

Hah, as soon as you said that I thought "I bet he has a link to a Flickr account in his signature that I didn't click on to find out."

Sure enough.

Seconded on the photo question. Man, I can't wait for the 5D Mk III....

New setup...

Thought I might as well add this to the thread, as I have just relocated my mac to the bedroom. Was down on the dining table, but finally got round to moving it. Unfortunately not enough rooms in my house for its own office, so this will make do!

So thats a 24" iMac C2D 2.16Ghz (Late 2006) running 10.7.2, a white iPhone 4S, and 32GB iPad2, with tan leather Smart cover. Also a tan Sena iPhone sleeve and Wacom Bamboo Stylus for iPad. Speakers are Acoustic Energy Aego M's.

You did a great job of telling us what everything is before someone asks..:)
Nice setup!
BUT, where did you get that coaster looking thing that looks like the settings icon on the ipad/iphone?

Thanks for the comments,

In response to the questions...

BUT, where did you get that coaster looking thing that looks like the settings icon on the ipad/iphone?

The coaster is part of a coaster set of all the native app icons. There is ones for contacts, messages, clock, weather etc all in a nice small box. 8 in total, I think. My mate got it for me as a gift. Not sure where from!
Its the same as this one here: linky - although i'm not sure if they are available still after checking the address on that video.

I like the white iPad, but I would be using it for viewing movies, and wouldn't really want the white for that.

Where did you get your wallpaper?

B&Q, about two and a half years ago. Knocked down to £1 a roll! Bargain. First bit of wallpapering I ever did, and its still there so can't have gone bad!

Internet usage, (Java) Programming, Mail, iTunes/ Spotify, Reading PDF's, taking notes, watching movies, nothing too particularly intensive such as Photo/Movie editing (I wouldn't recommend photo or movie editing on this setup due to RAM specs and graphics card specs.)

Everything is really snappy. It feels like I'm at an actual desktop while I am in my room. And the added benefit of having an EXTREMELY small laptop to take to all my classes, whether or I need to bring it or not, is really really nice.

I would recommend my setup to ANY student who wants a large workspace to work on in their room, and also a laptop that is super portable for classes and can do everything you would reasonably need a laptop to do.

Even though I probably could, I don't think I want to get a Thuderbolt display. I have a 24" Dell monitor that is really nice, so I think that'd go nicely with a MBA. Definitely my next computer purchase.
Thanks for your comments, by the way, that matches me fairly well, so i feel confident now.

Great cable management! Amazing how much is going on behind everything.

tbh the two displays are just sitting in my closet... i temporarily hooked them up to my 27" iMac but... three 27" monitors was srsly pointless lol OTZ

I googled the crap out of those today and did get one hit, out of some place in the UK, for about $60.00! I wanted some as well, they are cool. But not $60.00 worth of cool....
