Got a great deal on an external monitor, so I'm back to the whole setup. Presently using a stack of old English textbooks as a notebook stand - it works pretty well, actually.

University Students Setup

So last night I spent several hours rearranging my room to give me more desk space.

Overall I am really pleased how this new layout turned out. My setup from Left to right consists of...

• Toshiba SM3750 Music Centre
• eMac with iSight
• Ikea Desk Lamp
• iPad 32GB
• iPhone 4S 32GB (Black(
• 13'' MacBook Pro
• 12.1'' iBook G3 hidding in a shelf

Then hiding under the desk are my two massive Toshiba speakers, my Iomega 500gig HD, Rotel RA-400 Amp and two smaller sony speakers, into the MacBook Pro.

Out of shot I have my Mac minis and PM G4 Graphite along with my 17'' Apple LCD Display

For people that don't know I"m a huge fan of vintage gadgets and have quite a few different pieces dotted around my room.

Also a huge fan of Bob Dylan and have started to collect his albums, on vinyl of course

I want one badly...

you'll be shocked then how much I paid for it off ebay then LOL. I got it this summer and paid £6.50 ($10.00) US for it with the speakers and everything. Its immaculate condition the guy I bought it from gave me all the service manuals and instructions with it too. He also gave me this Toshiba catalogue and it was the best offering Toshiba had back in 1978. He paid £800 for it back then. One amazing machine

Here are a few shots of my current setup for CCNP/VMware labs. It is a little messy, but it gets lots of use. The keyboard is attached to the air, which acts as a synergy server, and the pro a synergy client. Behind the center monitor is a little TV facing a futon against the wall. Unfortunately, I will be loosing my office soon to a new roomate, so I wanted to capture what it looked like before it gets torn apart
