I love the desk. I have the same one, but mine is mostly black-brown, with white drawers.

It's a great desk, especially for the price. I think i paid 80 or 90 bucks for it! That sounds nice, but it wouldn't fit my room because everything in here is grey or white. :)

tuff box in the connex but i bought the keyboard and laptop stand online. the monitor i "acquired" from another tent no one was using. same with the table. its a small tent with 8 people and we used to have 10. one time we came back from a mission and they gave us another tent. theres a couple people out here living pretty good and i try to make the best of it when i am here on the FOB.

First off Thank You for your service. Love your setup, looks better than my home gear.

Stay safe soldier.

Nice setup. :) I have iHub Steve Jobs edition. :p

I took some very quick pics of the new 'simplified' setup.

What basically happened:

I sold my beast iMac 27" i7 bla bla and bought a new Thunderbolt Display to go with my 2011 11" MacBook Air. I didn't feel I needed all this power anymore.

The old Apple wireless Pro Keyboard is temporary because I sold my wireless apple keyboard with the iMac. They do still come in handy sometimes, I guess.

So, yeah. One OLD picture (with the iMac)

Hey, nice setup! I would do the same with my MBA but I have to really save up for a Thunderbolt display! Can you also check my Thread and help me decide on what to do? here's my thread: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1298269/
Thanks again!

I don't think I've shared my setup before, so I'll do it now :) Sorry for the poor lighting, my phone hasn't got a decent flash unfortunately!

It's a 42 inch LG TV (42LK450U to be exact), I decided to use it as an external display when using Solidworks for University work - but find myself using it all the time now cause it's brilliant to surf the internet on. Resolution is 1920 x 1080 I believe. It'll be hard switching back to a normal size screen now!

The speakers can connect with an quarter inch plug to a regular 3.5. Personally I use a Behringer UCA202 (external sound card kinda) with quarter inch to RCA. Either works I just think it sounds better with the usb and it only cost $25 for the UCA202.
