The HP EliteBook

So far, I am loving having the best of both worlds. I mainly use my Mac for everything, but the tablet is great for writing, and I enjoy using handwriting recognition for input.

Excuse the quality of the pictures, they were taken with my iPhone 4 and the room is dark.

I got the wide angle lens out and got a pic of the front of my living room. I have a mac mini hooked up to the TV and a MBP on the table by the chair.

Hey nice setup! My grandfather is getting a new chair and is giving me his old one, the same one you have in the picture. Love it, so comfortable.

Today is the day I finally sort things out. Desk is out for delivery, Worst part is taking the old one apart. And I would like to know WHO TIED MY CABLES IN KNOTS? Pixies? I know it wasn't me.:D

Had a little reshuffle, think it's a little better now. Things still need repainting, replacing, etc. But the general layout is where I want it now.

yes! this is a awesome setup
I love it! do you share it or is it two different desks just for you?

Naw, one for me, one for my better half :)

Are you in your boxers?

Look closely in the reflection of the table lamp. ;)

Lol, omg! They're shorts not boxers!!!

Too much attention to details

which desk is this? Seems like you can hide the cables in the desk is this correct.

Yeah it does which is awesome! - It's the Micke. Not quite enough depth though, an extra few inches would be ideal but gone are the days you need a huge desks for CRT's.

:d

These Threads are so bad for your wallet!

All I can think of is: OOH I need that, oh and that. No way awesome solution for my problem, so I need that and that and that too.

Damn

But still

I'm interested in seeing how this table looks once set up. They're not my taste, but I'm sure they would look nice when set up. Would be appreciated if you can send us a pic once you've set up everything.

Thanks Macman45 ;)

I've checked this table out in Ikea the other day but the depth of it was too short to be practical. So it's not ideal if you want to put a keyboard in front of the monitor or put many things on the table. :(

:D

haha. i remember when the poster was so secretive of where to get the table. haha the secret is out now. :p
I wasn't being secretive i just bought it from a local shop and when i went to ask for it they no longer had it in stock and no longer will.
Here is a similar desk at Amazon, this one is made by Sharper Image

Thanks for that if anyone asks me for it i'll give them this link.

Got it! Now I need to figure out what to do with this terrible looking phone and hide a few wires. It's getting there though.

Yep, office phone. I want to get rid of it but I can't. I fought to be allowed to use the mac instead of PC so I'll take what I can get.

My setup changes every few months between kinds of desktops and number of monitors. I've gone through 5 Mac Pros, and 4 iMacs over the last 5 years...I just can't make up my mind.

My current 27" iMac+27" Thunderbolt display will be changing again in the next 2 months.
