Both 23" ACDs are connected to the MBP sitting between them. For some reason, while the tops of the ACDs touch, there is a slight gap between the ACDs that gets more pronounced towards the bottoms of the displays (about 1/4" wide). No idea why, but it's going to drive me mad!

The last pic is what I see from my bed :D. The TV is connected to the PowerMac, which holds all my visual media.

Excuse the crap Droid quality (and my shaky hands).

Finally got my SD card back for my camera!

Here's my old setup when I first got an iMac G5 to replace my old PowerMac G4. This was in 2008 I believe.

During this summer I decided to repaint my room white, as I wanted more of a clean look. After having had the iMac G5 for 2.5 years I decided I had had enough of the jet-engine fans and malfunctioning AirPort. It was time for a new iMac! In november I bought a brand-new iMac 21.5". I must say this is the best computer I've ever had. I love the LED-screen, the Magic Mouse and Wireless Keyboard as well as the blistering performance. Also pictured is my new iPhone 4S which was bought in december. I'm contemplating putting up the M5 poster again or something similar, however I also like the clean look. Comments are welcome. :)

Not pictured is my MacBook Pro bought in 2007.

This is fantastic man.

Nice setup! Are you living in a double? Could the slight gap at the bottom be due to the slight vertical angle you have positioned?

Thanks! It's a triple actually.

I checked the angle, they both seem perfectly vertical. Made a couple minor adjustments, nothing made a difference. I may try swapping positions eventually, to see if it's the monitors or the desk.

Current Set Up

Will be upgrading to a new iMac 27" and getting rid of my Macbook Pro. Also looking at the IKEA Galant black glass desk. And will use the Dell as my gaming monitor or the Playstation TV, which is still sitting in my room. Haven't decided yet.

I tried glass....Once, it's nearly impossible to keep the dust off it, gave it to my next door neighbour who solved the dust issue by covering it with a tablecloth:) Wood for me all the way! Looks nice though.

Agreed. But I'm use to it. Have my trusty Swiffer duster that I use daily. And I need a bigger desk anyways plus it looks nice.

Where is your desk from? Thanks.
Unfortunately my desk is no longer made.
@Aquadock, do you know the your model of your monitor?

HP do love to rip-off apple's designs, but I can't afford a cinema display and it would look good with a unibody!

How is it as a monitor too btw?
Its a 21.5" 2210i, its a good monitor with good brightness and colour, but you could get better for its price.
What is your monitor model? and what is in those sleeves and what type of sleeves are they?

Love your setup by the way
Thanks :D

edit: and and where could I buy that desk from?
The monitor is a HP 2210i. My PowerBook and iPad are in the sleeves, they are Manhattan 12" and 10" notebook sleeves that fit perfectly.

How do you manage to use 2 FHD displays with a MBP?

Thanks!

I bought a cheap ($50) USB->DVI adapter for the second display. There's a bit of lag (it's like having a video card running over USB ) but it isn't intolerable (unless watching movies/gaming).

A tip: if you plan to pick one up for yourself, be sure to check the max resolution. Many of these are much less than 1080p (mine goes up to 2048x1152).

^Me thinks it's an Ikea Micke.

If anyone has a Micke, if at all possible, could you take a picture of the cable management compartment and/or back? Thanks.

Edit: It's not a Micke, the wire hole is on the side.
