Got a new desk by Heckler Design. In a perfect world I'd want a monitor with my MacBook Air, I might purchase one of the Dells in a few weeks/months!

It's a 11.6" MacBook Air i5 with 128GB SSD + 4GB of DDR3 Memory, a 64GB Verizon iPad 2 and a 64GB White iPhone 4S

do you find the keyboard to be to low. it looks low in the pics like you cant fit your legs under the second part. I feel a 27 inch imac is in my future and I cant decide to wallmount or use the desk you have. I am cramped for space so this type of desk is ideal.

Do you happen to use a Logitech harmony remote with your mac mini by any chance? Great setup BTW.
Thanks!

No, I have the mini sitting in an office that has a closet that shares a wall with the living room. I have the mini feeding a receiver in the living room and a monitor in the office.

I use Rowmote Pro on my iPhone or iPad to control it from the living room. I have a Harmony 880 and it controls everything else.

Anyway, here is a new pic of the MBP setup in the living room:

When I first got it I was thinking the exact thing. I believe the level of the keyboard area is where on an office desk with the keyboard pulls out, that 2nd piece is that level... I think. Anyhow my legs fit comfortably under the desk (5 ft 4 so I'm tiny) I can say that it definitely feels ergonomic! I love it, Deffo get this over the wallmount because behind the top desk you have storage for the modem, hard drive and cable ties to keep everything tidy.

I got the wide angle lens out and got a pic of the front of my living room. I have a mac mini hooked up to the TV and a MBP on the table by the chair.

Awesome, awesome set up there Uofmtiger. I had a look at your site just now and will look at your Flickr later, but either way, very envious of your set up across your whole house :)

Looks like a 13" Air, 17" MBP and an iMac. Nice!

Which one do you use the most?

Your right. I'm using them about equally except for late night internet use....Then it's the Air all the way. I can't believe I used to have that 17" monster on my lap!:)

The iMac does the heavy work though. 27" 2GB VRAM 16GB RAM. I still use the Pro for rendering too though.

Here's my first pic.

My first Mac - MacBook Pro Late 2011 13"
iPad 2 32GB Wifi+3G

Will be getting an iPhone in the summer (I had a 2 yr contract on my HTC phone - due for renewal in July - so will upgrade to iPhone then!)

Also have the iPod shuffle in the drawer - didn't buy it, got it given to me cos my mp3 player broke.. but I plan on using my iphone for music when I get it.

I think I'm going to mount my monitor on to the wall - it's wooden panels tho (I'm in the attic) so still unsure about that..

Anway - not bad considering I got my first modern apple product back in Sep (iPad) and got my MBP at the end of Oct.

The lighting in my room isn't great :(
