always liked a minimalistic setup,.....

iPad doubles as a secondary screen when needed. Love it!!!

I am thinking of getting a similar setup soon. I have an iPhone 4s, i have recently sold my iPad 2 and debating whether to get the 3. I will make up my mind when it is announced. I will also be purchasing the new MacBook Air whenever that is released. This will be a similar setup to yours.

Do you mind me asking what size MacBook Air you have. I am debating between the 11" and 13".

Im gonna take a wild guess and say it is IKEA because I have seen a similar desk in IKEA and because IKEA is popular among Mac Nerds like us :D

except I have never seen ikea sell tables with that thickness. their popular galant series is probably only half or even 1/3 the thickness.

I think the thickness of his desk is about 1.25 inches, this is a little more uncommon for ikea as most of theirs are 1 inch but I still think it is from IKEA, otherwise it might also be homemade (the top, not the legs), I have seen quite a few homemade desks like his, people just varnish some wood they have cut and then screw some IKEA legs on the bottom

Less chit chat, more setups please

you guys are perfectly right!

the desk in that setup is made by IKEA and called "Vika Byske" you can find it here:

http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50106773/

the legs i used for the table top are no longer manufactured by IKEA but i am sure there are plenty of nice ones to choose from :D

my bad for being OT, but how do you find the table itself? light? heavy? quality?

Once again I am right, like always , jokes :D

when you're right, you're right! :D

I never noticed the up/down votes for each individual post, but i love how there are a couple of people so bored that they waste their time down voting every single post that doesn't have a picture. LOL. Bored much? What's the point of the up/down votes anyway? I see no purpose.

i dont downvote posts w/o pictures but i can see why. its pretty annoying visiting a picture thread that has 26 posts and 2 pictures. pretty much an entire discussion spanning several days. which is what this thread has pretty much turned in too.

First time poster. Scary.
11" ultimate mba, iPad 32gb wifi (actually sold it today - iPad 3 on the way!)
Got it hooked up to airplay speakers. Best. Thing. Ever. I. Really. Hate. Cords.
Photo taken with iPhone 4s.

Now lets see how this forum turns out from a scribblers perspective! :)

Sweet simplistic setup, I am trying to do the same with my desk as well because I HATE wires and I want an iPhone :D
