I thought the i5's in the early 2011's were only dual core...

Awesome thread folks! Taken much inspiration from everyone! Many thanks.

Looking forward to posting my set up once all items have arrived (Apple stuff, Ikea desks, multi-plugs, cables ties, etc.), but wont be before the end of the month I'd say thanks to Ikea's crappy shipping. :mad:

Desperate for everything to arrive as my current PC set up necessitates a million cables and several extension cables harboring so much dust and spiders it seems! :( Just had one run across my desk scaring the living ***** outta me (arachnophobia)!! :eek:

Nice! Where did you get the speaker stands?

hi, They are auralex mopads they sell them at all guitar centers. they are definetly not needed for this speakers but It absorbs the vibrations pretty well.

where did you get that under the desk slide-out keyboard tray?

Hi, I made it from a shelf and some drawer sliders i picked up from the home depot.. it was like 20 bucks and 10-20 minutes to finish.
