Nice setup! What are the speakers you're using there? I assume they go into a USB control unit or something?

After a new set to replace a crap set of Bose Companion 5's.

What's your budget? You should go for the Audioengine A5+, you'll love those.

There was a member on this forum, if I recall correctly, who went and got his table made from a carpenter. Ended up costing him only about $1800.

$1800 is still a lot to spend for a device that does nothing but keep #%^$ off the floor

How do you find working with an L-shape desk?

I guess the free space is helpful for sorting out papers and working with books, pens and paper but most of the time I just stay on the right side. The left side is really just useful for putting stuff on it, like a Macbook. There's also a lack of legroom on the extension so it's not somewhere you should expect to be positioned for a long time. Overall, I'm really happy with having the desk space.

So sorry about the sizes - complete and utter n00b sometimes! Mucho apologies!

In those photos we have...
27 inch iMac (2011) i7 3.4 hooked upto a Thunderbolt Display. Also an LG 3d monitor hooked up too but hope to replace that with a second thunderbolt display. Ipad on there too.

There's my microphone (Audio Technica A4050) for recording (I'm a voiceover) which goes into a Saffire Pro which is hidden under the desk along with a couple of WD My book studios to back up. All propped up on my lovely Ikea Vika desk which is fairly popular on here looking back thru the pages.

Still a long way to go - but finally getting there!

Just played around with my EOS

In the pictures:
- iMac 21.5" 2011 (2.5GHz i5 + 12GB DDR3)
- Late-2008 Macbook Unibody (2GHz + 4GB DDR3 + Intel 320 SSD)
- iPhone 4 16GB
- iPad 2 16GB WiFi
- Western Digital MyBook Studio 2TB (as Time Capsule)
- KRK Rokit 2 RP5
- T.C. Electronic Desktop Konnekt 6
- iZettle (receive credit card payments on iPhone)
- Mobee Magic Charger (inductive charger for Magic Mouse)
- Pioneer HDJ-2000 headphones
- NemID key generator (we use that to log in to all public websites and betting sites etc. in Denmark)
- Panasonic 42X10 plasma

What you can't see (but are in the setup):
- Playstation 3 (old fat one)
- Western Digital Live Hub
- Synology NAS (4x2TB in RAID 5 = 5,5TB usable space)
- HaraTech Doctor chair

2009-2010: Added an external 23" monitor and a better desk, TV was replaced as it broke

Mid-late 2010: Got my iMac

Early 2011: Added my old monitor to the setup

Late 2011/Early 2012: New TV, removed the monitor as it wasn't as bright as my iMac's screen which annoyed me

Early-mid 2012: New desk

Present: Added a 21.5" monitor to pair with my iMac, new TV stand
