Alright, desk updated, ready for the 30th anniversary of the original Macintosh.
From left to right:
original Macintosh (serial number shows 1983 manufacture date,) upgraded to 512K motherboard, plus HD20 hard drive.
iMac mid-2008, the oldest one that can run Mavericks. Upgraded to 2.6 GHz CPU, 6 GB RAM, 1 TB hard drive.
Cheapo ViewSonic 1080p monitor. Connected to the iMac via DVI, to an AppleTV via HDMI, and through a VGA/USB KVM switch to a Blue & White G3 and a dual-Xeon workstation under the desk. The 'stand' for the monitor is a 2 TB USB hard drive connected to the iMac. (The AppleTV is also barely visible peeking out from under the monitor.) The monitor has really basic *cough*crappy*cough* speakers built in, so when I use the AppleTV, I usually use headphones connected to the headphone out on the monitor.
DSL modem and new Time Capsule (I don't use the WiFi on the DSL modem.)
iMac G4 (17", 800 MHz, the last one that can boot OS 9.)
The desk has a keyboard tray under it that houses an Apple Wireless Keyboard, Trackpad, and Magic Mouse for the iMac, and an older Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro and IntelliMouse Explorer connected to the KVM switch for the B&W G3 and workstation. When I use the G3 or workstation, I move the Apple Bluetooth bits to the top of the desk and slide the USB ones to the front of the keyboard tray. When I'm not, they slide to the back of the tray, and the Bluetooth bits sit at the front.
