Details and Update to my setup 2014
So recently I have aquired two new Machines for my setup a 1989 Macintosh SE/30 and a 15'' PowerBook G4. This is how my setup is looking thus far. I am still waiting for some parts for the PB G4 as it is a pretty battered unit, but for £25.00 I can't complain. New screen assembly is coming from California of all places.
Bit of details on my desk. The shelf & desk are apart of the Ikea Expedit Series, had it getting on for four years now and its still in pretty good condition.
Heres is my Main desk area with the PowerBook G4 , MacBook Pro 13'' and iMac setup. Also in bright orange is my Laci Rugged 128GB SSD connected via thunderbolt into the iMac which is now my boot drive
Still waiting for RAM and new hard drive for the PB G4 as someone has fitted a measly and ultra slow 30GB 4200 RPM drive in it

Here is the top of the desk with two 1978 Toshiba Stereo speakers. These were upgraded internally with modern speakers a couple of years back. They are attached to my 1978 Toshiba SM3750 unit. Also on the shelf is my 1989 Macintosh SE/30 which I plan to get setup and working at some stage. Along the shelf is also my vintage film camera collection.
Here is my music centre area. This unit is connected to the two Toshiba speakers in the previous picture. Its an amazing system which I picked up in 2011 for £6.50. Left of the shelf is my 1969 Sony Digitmaic flip clock still going strong after 44 years and keeps excellent time. Next to this is my JBL iPhone dock along with gold iPhone 5s. In the middle is my Go Pro Hero 3 Black Edition, this is what I use for my rowing training videos whilst coxing. To the end of the shelf is my 1973 avocado green G.P.O 746 Telephone which I restored a few years back it works excellent.
This is the media area with a 17'' iMac G4 and Dual 1.8 Power Mac G5. The TV is a 27'' LG 3D unit connected to an Apple TV and Xbox 360 which sits on top of the G5 (slightly out of shot)
This is the pride and joy of my camera collection a JVC GR-C1 from 1984. Many of you will recognise this camera as the camera featuring in Back to the Future Part 1. I got this as one of my christmas presents, for more of a display piece but it does fully work as well. It is also considered the first "true modern" camcorder being the first to incorporate the VHS deck into the camera unit
