Changed almost everything yesterday! Need to move the pictures and clock around on the wall, but besides that Im pretty much done!

Decided to put my TV on a TV stand, move my desk to a different wall, put the PowerMac on my desk instead of under it. I moved my speakers into the TV stand, and my printer back on the side table under the iMac G4.

Went to IKEA and purchased two red table surfaces and 8 legs. Very inexpensive and quite pleased with the results. Matches perfectly with the library I got a few weeks ago.

Plus the additional space allowed me to put some geeky stuff on my desk! :D

Mind if I ask the cost? Im not a big fan of my actual desk, and part if it collapsed so Im needing a new one, really like how yours looks!

I got the white top and white legs, very good for the price but it does chip very easily.

I was worried about my speakers as they are made of wood. I stuck some felt pads underneath. Does the trick very nicely and again it's very inexpensive.

You are full of good ideas haha! :)

Another quick question, is there a noticeable gap between the two desks? Or do the line up pretty good?

There is a very fine gap but not wide enough for anything to slip through. You must take into account that these are two tables. They weren't not exactly designed to be fitted together.

Yep, Just wanted to make sure they diene have a big gap, I will probably put my MacBook Pro's M-Stand or Cinema Display in the corner. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't an uneven gap between them

What about scratches? I have a silver Cinema display and PowerMac G5, would those tear it up if Im not careful? (My MacBook Pro has feet so Im not worried)

Mine has scratches from my apple wired keyboard and just general marks that seem to of come from nowhere. With it being so cheap I don't mind so much as I could replace the top every couple of months if I wanted to lol.

Nice. Clean lines, symmetry. Looks good! Are you monitoring some surveillance cameras on the left display, it looks like?

Ya, just some Foscams so I can check in on my dogs when I am not home. Also I have one in my backyard, so I can keep an eye on them when I am home but they're out in the back. Lastly, there is also one looking over my parents house's driveway that I setup for my dad.
