Went to the Ikea yesterday to raise my iMac a bit.

Here's an update to my setup. New bits: A few more Thunderbirds puppet replicas, a 1934 Lindstrom bagatelle (marble pinball game) on the wall, and I scratch-built a 4 foot tall Martian Fighting Machine from War of the Worlds to stand over my new iMac. :)

Just got a new desk and Chair

Thought I'd share
Realised after I'd taken the pictures that I own a DSLR camera...
Not pictured: Macbook Air and Iphone 5.
P.S. If anyone can tell me how to fix the upside down photo situation, that'd be great!

You can do the rotate gesture on the Magic Trackpad.

New 13" rMBP and AOC Q2770PQU monitor setup

Just got my new setup completed tonight, pretty happy with the finished product.

My current setup consists of a late 2013 13" rMBP dual core i5 with 16Gb RAM and 256GB ssd sitting on a rain design Mstand, using a AOC Q2770PQU WQHD monitor.

Other bits and pieces consist of a 500GB freecom external drive and a Braven 650 bluetooth speaker along with a wired aluminium full sized keyboard and Logitech MX revolution mouse.

The large PC case sitting beside the screen houses my 8TB media server running Ubuntu server and Plex media server.

How do you like that HP monitor? I've been thinking about getting one.

If you're interested in the same exact one I'm willing to sell you my HP xi 23". In almost new condition. I was actually looking to purchase a monitor that I could wall mount, but unfortunately this one cannot. Reason why I didn't return it right away was because it was really nice and I needed a monitor for my desk, for work and school. Therefore, I just kept it. I don't mind keeping it, but I would rather look for a monitor I could actually wall mount.

I have the same hp monitor but in 27" size , the monitor is 1080p
The monitor looks like it was made by apple , you could put an apple sticker on top of the hp logo & people would think is an iMac :apple:
The screen is nice and crisp, some people don't like 1080p on a big monitor but I don't mind everything looking bigger
Mine is glossy , I don't know about the 23" version
Got mine on sale $210 a while back on newegg

Thanks, but I think I'll look at a couple of the 25" models down the line. It is a shame that they don't have VESA mounts but I think you can get aftermarket kits similar to the ones used for mounting iMacs and cinema/tb displays.
