They are thermal imagers. The grey one is a FLIR E50exx and the little yellow one is a Fluke VT02.

That's awesome... but geez, I just saw the price of the FLIR.. damn, there goes my idea of buying one to track wildlife at night to photograph!

What's the Fluke like? Seems a bit more reasonable in price.

The small fluke is around $500, but requires visible light for thermal imaging...

Entry level Thermal imagers sat art at $995, look intone the FLIR E4.

Occasionally I forget how BIG the ACD is after owning it for more than a few years. I brought home my work 21.5" iMac to get it updated and it was sitting next to my ACD and it struck me again just how big this thing is for those that care.

I've have made some updates...

I built myself a gaming PC, so now I have 3 systems sharing the 32" TV. Wasn't sure how it was going to work out at first, but due to the Audioengine D1 and the Belkin HDMI splitter I am able to have all 3 systems share the Audioengine speakers and switching between systems is fairly simple. I also changed my headset to the new Sony Gold Wireless Headset. I did this mainly out of convenience since I can simply plug in the usb adapter to whichever system I need to use the headset on. For example, if I am gaming at night I have them plugged into my PC or PS4, but can move them to the Mac when I am done and want to watch some shows (Mac is connected to my media drive).

At first I was using the Logitech K811 for both the Mac and PC and just swapping between the two when I needed to change. This solution worked just fine, but I did not particularly enjoy gaming on the K811 so I decided to get a keyboard just for the PC. I did not find any wireless ones that I liked so I went wired and decided to make my own wire management hole with a hole drill and a desk grommet. I still have and use the K811 for the Mac, but it's tucked under the Mac during this picture.

Reading and writing. I put the news channel on there when I'm working too. When reading long PDFs for example it makes it easier. Other than that I'm not too sure, but I'm still experimenting.

Also nice for working with large tables (500,000+ rows) or viewing whole sheets from scanned files. I don't leave mine rotated all the time, just for projects where it improves the workflow.

You should consider using Synergy (http://synergy-foss.org/). I use it for my PC and Mac and, while not perfect, it is pretty awesome for sharing the keyboard and mouse between the two machines.

I love it. I believe it's an IPS panel and once I'd set it up it works well. There's virtually no bezel. The display sits flush with the front of the surround too, which is great. Refresh rate when gaming is good, not the best, and I think it's only 120Hz, but it's fine for now with my aged Xbox 360. Pixel density, 93PPI, is way off 'Retina' and yet seems quite adequate. I sit about 45cm from it and I can see the pixels but they aren't eye bothering.
Downsides for me are purely cosmetic and personal taste based.

That is TweetDeck for Mac, Mac App Store
