The two things I would do are turn off the case lights and mount the display on the wall. Looks good!

Case lights are definitely staying! :) But I am working on sorting out that light bleed, because I don't like the light falling onto the wall.

And yes, mounting is an idea I've considered as well, but perhaps when we move house this year. No point doing it right now.

I tend to use electrical tape on the tube when I put light in for people. You case breathes reasonably well so it's going to be kinda hard to block out all the light bleed.

Pics of my setup, 2x 24" AOC monitors, PS4 + camera, Mac Mini, Logitech 2.1 speakers, Steelseries mouse/mousemat, Apple wired keyboard, Apple airport express and ikea dioder lights. Not pictured are my Turtle Beach XP500 and PS4 controller which are kept in the top drawer to avoid dust!

P.S The scalpel is for unboxing stuff. ;)

This is a great setup.

How do you connect the PS4 to one of the monitors? Do you pipe the audio to the powered speakers, or do the monitors have built-in speakers?

If the PS4 audio goes to speakers, how do you multiplex the speakers between the PS4 and your Mac?

I have Turtle Beach XP500 wireless 7.1 headset, it's not pictured. The Mac goes through the speakers, I can however connect the speakers to the Dolby tower of the XP500s.

EDIT: Also the monitors have 2x HDMI in them.

Me and my husbands office. He used to only like windows machines, but after I gave him my iMac 27" - he won't use anything else. The windows laptop is just something I sometimes use when we travel. Its nice to have that little Samsung Syncmaster 172S with it when I use it for regular things. (old but sweet) The monitor that I use for my mini is AOC I2757FH 27". Anything else - ask :)

Sorry about the pic, that got a little funny. Was using the Panorama on the iPhone. Never use it, but I think I had to, to show everything. The table is big.

After a very large amount of saving, working, building, and adjusting, my setup is pretty much done. I would like to get some LED's around the TV and hide the wires better, but Im extremely happy with my setup!

I posted earlier with questions about Ikea desks. I finally decided to get the Galant L-shaped desk and I'm loving it so far. My old desk barely had room for the two screens and the Dell laptop with docking station (which I use for work). I work from home 90% of the time, so they'll always be the main focus. But now I have tons of room for my Mac too, and still have plenty of space to spread out for other reasons.

In addition to the desk I also recently splurged for some Hue lights, which let me adjust the light temperature to match what's outside while I work, while still having some fun with different color schemes at night.

Next steps are:
1: Get a wireless keyboard for the Dell.
2: Put some pictures on the wall. I want at least one good photo, either landscape or architecture.
3: Replace the bookcase with something bigger. I'm thinking the Expedit from Ikea, which would let me use some of the space to display some things, while adding inserts to hide some of the mess.

So what speakers are the Playstation 4 connected to?

Yeah I'm thinking of using airconditioner foam. Should be easy to tape inside.
The grills at the back though, not sure yet, that needs some thought. I might just let that bleed (it doesn't look too bad when the case is not angled like it is in the picture)

Would you happen to have a link to the wallpaper on your Cinema Display? I find myself needing that inspiration right now... ;)
