Hey-o,
I got a laptop stand from ikea yesterday. I'm surprise at how large it is. But, at least, I can now properly use the MBP (mid-2010 15" model) with an external monitor w/ a keyboard & mouse without having to move things off my desk.
ps--pardon the mess, i'm scanning my negatives again using a new scanner i got recently which is an epson perfection v3770 (under the desk next to external hdd's in the photo) to replace my canon pixma mp610, which died suddenly out of the blue. yeah! my all-in-one decided to go all-for-one. wait... that doesn't make sense. i just mean die. so, i couldn't even use the scanner if i wanted to since the device didn't turn on, at all. so, i had to fork for a new scanner and printer, which i got separately this time around. the printer (blocked in the photo by a chair) is a cheap brother laser printer (hl-2240).... it's a good thing that scanners and printers are cheap these days. i just hope they last for more than 7 yrs like the canon pixma mp610 did.....
