Yeah, found out that the port at the back of my TV can charge my iThings too! Spent a couple of minutes yesterday afternoon tweaking the color settings and am very pleased with the results.

But best of all, the dead silence is amazing. It's like there's no computer running to begin with. That and I have room for my Wacom.

The 24" model is probably one of the best displays Dell ever produced. It was too small for me, but it was a gem for those that owned one.

It actually sounds pretty nice. They really put in the effort to tune the soundstage of this speaker, a nice touch is that you get a frequency response graph with the speaker.

I must admit though, I mainly bought it cause of it's appearance. I have my Sennheiser HD800 and for the whisky music listening by the computer, and for apartment filling sound I have a Focal audio setup in my living room.

Evolution of my Mac Setup

Started 2011 with this:

Gave my iMac to my brother and switched to this:

Traded it in for a 15" rMBP...

... and just bought a Dell U2414H and a stand for the MacBook (see attachment). Next plan? Depends on what awaits me after my master's degree next summer.
