lol tabasco and some kind of stomach pills? Nice match! :D

lol, it's actually dissolvable vitamin c tablets that is next to the tabasco! i love mixing tabasco with crisps and all those junk!!!

I'm not getting into this argument,
in other news, nice stand Skyrider007, have you thought about a Griffin Elevator for Christmas?
:)

thanks for the suggestion! i actually have an iLap at home but forgot to bring it to university. the "ken follett's hardcover" stand is my temporary solution (good for the environment as well ~ recycling a read book :p)

@David Ames: Nice setup, similar to my MBP setup while at home. Do you have the USB cable for your cinema display's hub attached to your MBP? Leopard doesn't seem to like them, I've been having wake sleep issues with bus error being shown for the cinema display while plugged in.

There's a long thread on this on the Apple discussion boards, but I was just wondering if you'd experienced this problem.

Nice.

This is probably what my dorm setup is going to look like.

Please don't tell me you bought those iPod socks from apple.

Yes, the monitor is connected via the USB hub. Haven't been having any problems actually. So far so good :)

I don't get why there are two ways to plug it in.

Here is everything I have(In My setup):
SR macbook 2.0 GHz
HP 17'' lcd monitor
250GB Seagate Free Agent External HD
Cambridge Soundworks 5.1 surround sound
30 GB ipod video black
HP photosmart c4280 all in one printer
apple keyboard, white older version
microsoft laser mouse 6000
avermedia tvbox 7 ( to make monitor into a tv- I reccomend this highly instead of getting a monitor and a tv)
cannon SD1000

I don't get why there are two ways to plug it in.
One does not have the grounding prong (the third one), and the other does. The one with the grounding prong also is longer so you can use it further away from an outlet. The one without the grounding prong is meant to be more portable, as the cord gets wrapped around the box and the outlet prongs hide within the outlet.

Here is my setup, both ends of my tiny bedroom.

ZZ18EFD90E.jpg

ZZ4BB23E27.jpg

In the setup there is:
Xbox 360
Alba DVB-T Tuner
iPhone (although I used that to take the first picture so please excuse the rubbish quality!)
iMac 2.4GHz, 2GB RAM, 320GB HDD
MacBook 2.2GHz, 2GB RAM, 160GB HDD
Samsung LE23R71WX (23 inch LCD TV)

There also is a Miglia TV mini connected to the iMac along with a 320GB Toshiba external hard drive and an HP Deskjet 5740.

Hope everyone likes it, I've spent a lot of time (and wasted a lot of money) getting this the way I want it and now I think it's perfect.

Nice setup - congrats. You haven't wasted money if it's what you want, surely?
