First post!
I've been eyeing these shots for a long time, and now that I have a new camera, here I am.

1280x960

Currently showing:
- Mac Mini C2D @ 1.83GHz w/ 2GB Ram
- iPod 8GB
- iBook G4 12" @ 1.2GHz
- Apple MMouse & Keyboard

Along with:
- Intel C2D e6300 @ 1.86GHz w/ 4GB Ram
- eVGA Superclocked 8800GTS 320mb
- Logitech G5 & Keyboard

All on my Gateway 22". PIP comes in handy with this thing.

All three systems are on the same desk, though my PC is hidden in the lower compartment for all my gaming needs.

Some updates, I've moved and shuffled things around a bit. I seem to have snapped the shot just as the displays were going to sleep.

This is a 90 degree turn to the left, where the MBP lives amongst the jungle of headphones and social theory. Can you pick the book that doesn't belong?

A nicer shot, more like what I see as I sit.

What my deck keyboard looks like after some bourbon. How everything else is in focus, I have no idea. I don't really do cameras.

Thank you. You're a gentleman and a scholar. Damn few of us left! ;)

When I was growing up, my father always used to say "you are a gentle person and a scholar" if I did something special. I think you are the first person I have heard say that phrase besides him.

[NOSTALGIA] :) [/NOSTALGIA]

What is your ibook sitting on? Where would you get that? Will it fit a macbook pro?

For people with ALU iMacs and external displays

does the fact that one is glossy and the other isn't bother you? I'm considering going either macbook+external display(which I already own) and ditching my powerbook, or keeping the powerbook for mobility and buying an iMac and spanning displays but I'm not sure how combining glossy and non-glossy will work.

If you're picky about that kind of detail, I would recommend the HP w2007, the w2207, or the w2408, depending if you're trying to match to a 20" or a 24" iMac. They are glossy, really nice-looking screens, and they match the look of the new iMac nearly perfectly (for better or for worse). You might want one higher-quality matte screen if you need perfect color reproduction for professional work (alas, the eternal matte vs. glossy debate), but if you just want the two screens to match, this is my recommendation:

Rock on,

Actually I'm more worried about eyes being able to adjust etc. I'm a coder, and couldn't draw my way out of a paper bag or edit a photo to look any better than the camera made it :p but thanks for the insight!

What mouse is that?

I am looking for a quality bluetooth mouse with good battery life when I get my Macbook.

That looks like either a Logitech MX or VX Revolution. Good mice, but aren't Bluetooth as they require a USB RF dongle.

The best Bluetooth mouse I've ever used battery life-wise is the wireless Mighty Mouse. It went for something like 3 months before I had to change the battery.

It looks like a Griffin Elevator. Yes, it'll fit a MBP. I have mine sitting on one right now.

Edit: Beaten by about 10 seconds.

Just got my Mac today :D
Here's the setup. Yes it looks clean because I'm OCD about a lot of things.

You might notice the Bear Grylls autographed photo framed to the right of my desk :)

First actual Mac setup

1896957388_9d4dc18c6a_b.jpg

24" iMac, 500gb HDD, 4gb RAM, 2.8ghz Intel Core Extreme.
Mac OS X Leopard Up-To-Date Package.
Wireless Slim Keyboard.
Wireless Mighty Mouse.
Dell Speakers Model #: IDFK (Not Pictured.)
Apple Remote.
Nokia Model #: PIECEOCRAP (Secondary phone.) You know what's coming up...
1st gen 2gb iPod Nano (Kept as the first iPod I fixed, also running Linux.)
2nd gen iPod Shuffle (Good as an "On-the-Go" iPod with my secondary phone.)
The TRUE original Vintage 5gb iPod CLASSIC (I take it WAY too seriously.)
HP Photosmart C4280 (Not pictured.)

... And... thats it!

Oh, and did I mention the hacked 1.1.1 8gb iPhone with InvisibleShield?

EDIT: Did I do something wrong with the picture? It's not showing for me. I just used the thing in the toolbar and put the image's URL in there. It only shows as the "question mark icon" for me.

EDIT 2: I got post 69!!! WOOOHOOOOO!

Yeah it's the new 2.2 Ghz :) I ususally keep my desk clean so I can do my studies on my desk, but my college textbooks are on the shelf below. Ikea opens Nov 14 in Orlando, looking to get new desktop lamps that are so popular on here. Maybe, who knows. My first priority is to get 4gb RAM and maybe some invisible shield

I do envy the wireless MM though..

Honestly, with all the Fliqlo questions we get here, should we just make it a rule for all people posting pictures with a Fliqlo screensaver in it to also post a link to it?:p
