I got my new 24" iMac yesterday! It looks a bit odd in that pic due to the flash, but in reality the screen is flawless and I love it. The desk's a bit too small really, but it does the job for now. And I will tidy those cables etc up at some point but I'm too busy enjoying the mac at the moment :D

Just got my iMac about a week and a half ago, loving it so far! The only 'problem' is one that I just noticed a few hours ago - it looks like my keyboard is bent from where the number pad starts up to the right end of the keyboard. Are all keyboards like this? Or should it be completely flat from left to right?

My keyboard arrived bent too - same as you described. It should be flat. Call 800-apl-care and they should send you a replacement (you then return the bent one in the new one's packaging).

I really love it when people post pictures like this. This is the ultimate for realism for setups. And for some reason, the little bit of blanket covering up the Macbook makes it look awesome. Now you just need to retake it with a DSLR and give it a real short depth of field, then sell it as porn!

thanks! it's actually the collar of a shirt. i was getting dressed. :p

oh boy, i wish I had a DSLR! the auto-macro mode on my NV8 will have to do though. :)

I couldn't get any decent pics of it, best I could do:

My keyboard is like that, and my friends imac wasnt like that though. But after a while, a bent appeared, so you could run a CD along the edge, and towards the middle, it would just slide in under, so dont worry. As long as it still works, just ignore it

On the topic of the Alu KB, Im getting an external monitor delivered later in the week and will be using one, so about the 3 months after they've been out, how are they holding up and what are they like to use after this period of time?
Thanks

What, the keyboard? they are very nice, it takes 10 minutes to get used to them, and zero for you because you have a macbook:)

Yeah the keyboard, sorry. And good to hear. Hows the build quality on them?

Sturdy, then yet again, they are bent around the number pad, not sure if its an illusion, but very sturdy, no keys have jumped off at me, they are a little lower than the macbook's, like the on the macbook, the keys are higher, on the keyboard, a little lower, but you won't notice the difference unless you go from macbook, to keyboard and back and forth.

What kind of desk/desks do you have there? I am in the market for a large workspace, and haven't really found anything that suits me.

Why can't I stop commenting? That is an awesome setp, is that 2 23's? we are going to get a setup like that.

Same here, im looking for a small L desk, with each of the 2 sides to be max 70-80" if possible

What computer are you running the display off of, a mini or a pro, or are you running it off of a laptop?

Thanks, I just gave Apple a call but they're closed for the New Years. Hoping to get my keyboard exchanged soon, though.

It's about 4 years old so I don't have a link/model number, but I do know that it's from Staples, lol. Although I wouldn't recommend it if you have an iMac as the desk itself is very shallow.

So everyone is posting and i just felt like posting my setup again. There are a few changes since the last picture. New PSP and Mouse oh and iPhone

Sorry it's kinda dark but thats from actual low lighting in the room and i didn't feel like using flash. There's also the fact that my camera is REALLY crap eitherway.

Nice setup! What kind of PSP dock are you using?

This is not a setup but i think you guys will still love this its the original Accessory Kit (box could be better) that came with the Power Mac G3 (B&W) it has the Original Keyboard, Mouse, VGA to DB-15 monitor connector (never opened), Manuals with Studio Display Software (i have never had the studio display monitor from what the manuals say it would have been the CRT) & Registration Documents (they are fully unused). i just hope you guys like the photos also there is the pass throw cable for running the monitor power from the Computer and the original power cable not in photo as in use on the G3
