Keep it pretty simple.

65%, I think. It's the Ducky Miya Pro Rainbow with MX reds.. best board I've ever used.

LG 4k IPS (LG 27UD68-W I think)
Thanks!

And yeah, I have Ducky Shine 7 with MX silent reds, and that's the best board I've ever used! I do love smaller boards, but I had limited options here as I was looking for a quiet board (my wife shares my home office now given the pandemic, and my old MX blue keyboard was driving her crazy).

im interested by those Keychron keyboards - does anyone have any unbiased reviews to share?

I'm a mech enthusiast and a moderator over at r/mechmarket. To put it in perspective, my highest end keyboard cost nearly as much as my 16" MBP. For the money, the Keychrons are solid keyboards. They're sadly limited by the switch options they have available, but they can and should be modded to unlock their full potential.

That said, if you're interested in custom keyboards, look into some of the offerings from KBDFans, Massdrop (Drop.com), and others. For a little more investment, I'd highly recommend the Drop Alt High Profile, a 65% with decent build quality and hot swappable so you can test different switches to find what you prefer (Linear, Clicky, Tactile).

What keyboard do you have?

The Drop Alt High Profile looks nice. I think the main thing I ran into was keyboards either not having Bluetooth, and/or not having a Mac layout.

Several. I have a KeyCult No. 2, Zeal Xeno, Lyn Whale, Rama M60-A, MonstarGear XO, KBD75v2, several Topre boards, as well as many alps clones; including a few of the Matias tactiles. In total probably close to a dozen builds right now, and several retail boards as well. Strangely, my current daily driver is the Matias Tactile Pro Mini. I love alps switches and the Matias is the only current retail board that offers something similar to an old-school alps experience.

Honestly not many custom builds will come with Bluetooth. Ironically in the mech space Bluetooth is usually included on lower end builds as most of the enthusiast community prefers wired builds, mainly so we can buy overpriced cables to match our keycap sets. This is an odd dichotomy, in that you sometimes need to buy a cheaper board to get some of the more advanced features you’re looking for. As for Mac layouts, you can buy aftermarket keycaps with Mac legends and software like QMK, Via and other apps that support whichever PCB you’re running will easily allow you to remap to a regular Mac layout.

If you need Bluetooth there are a few options out there; my favorite one right now is the Logitech G915 TKL. Many of my fellow enthusiasts would mock me for saying, the Clicky version of the G915 is extremely comfortable to type on, and uses both a Bluetooth and RF wireless connection so you could simply switch between the two for Mac or PC if you’re running a dual setup like my own. It also has stellar battery life, especially with RGB turned off, and is overall just a solid low-profile board for the price.

Right, I think for me it’s just, I don’t want to sea with any of that. I want a Bluetooth, Mac-first keyboard at any price. Having to buy keycaps or make changes is a barrier for someone like me who just wants something that works.
Thanks for sharing the keyboards you have. Super interesting to see some of the different models out there!

Very nice - dare I say that I also own a set of those Harman-Kardon speakers. I really ought to post my setup.

The only issue with my speakers is that they go to sleep too quickly and I have to wait or press the volume button to activate them. I'm often 3 seconds into a song or video before the subwoofer/speakers kick in. I think it's due to the cable I use. I got the set of speakers from a friend, but didn't get the audiocable with.

Updated to include my setup - a 27" iMac from late 2015. A Logitech Triathlon Mouse - some Denon headphones, a docking station with a 120Gb SSD taken from my LaCie Rugged Thunderbolt enclosure to keep my Windows virtual machine on. My LaCie drive and Time Machine drive sits the back of the Mac.

I wanted speakers ever since I saw/heard them at compusa back in the early 2000's. I'm sure someone at eBay might have spare original cables for sale really cheap that you can pick up.
