Left the iMac in the living room as a family computer and put together a more personal setup on our bedroom with the 20inch Cinema Display
I didn't really liked the computer I use being in the living room, with everyone passing by with no real privacy, I prefer having a more personal space.

Quick nighttime shot of the setup. My Mac is an M1 13" Pro underneath the table, connected to the left monitor. The right monitor is showing my gaming desktop. I use the Magic Trackpad with my Mac and the Logitech G703 (I think) for my mouse with the Windows computer, and I swap my keyboard with bluetooth.

Finally got moved in to my new place this weekend and now have the space for a proper office setup (the kind I've wanted for a while). Got my gaming laptop on the left, my iMac in the center and then my work machine on the right. The glass top desk will become my defacto printer stand whenever I get around to getting that set up. What desk is this? Or what are the dimensions? I’m looking for something similar

Left Monitor is an HP X24ih, and the right monitor is some Dell monitor I got for free from an old roommate. My Desktop (not pictured) connects to both (1xDP and 1xHDMI), and my MacBook Pro (also not pictured) connects to my HP monitor with HDMI (for that sweet 120Hz macOS goodness).

I use a Logitech G703 (+ PowerPlay Mat) with my desktop and the Magic Trackpad with my MacBook (probably going to swap it out for the Space Gray model soon, however). I use a Keychron K2 keyboard and just switch bluetooth profiles depending on which machine I want to type on.

My MacBook connects to everything using a USB-C dock with integrated power (hidden behind the iPad), so it's one cable and I'm charging, connected to my monitor, and also backing up to time machine.

Also pictured is my iPad mini and my Logitech Pro headset (for gaming). The Nomad Base Station Pro (for wireless charging on the desk), and two HomePod minis! I need to trade the white for a black (they were originally in different rooms).

I've literally dreamed about having a desk setup like this since I was a kid, and now I finally have it. I've been working really hard to get here. I'm super satisfied with what I have! Now, if only I could learn how to cable manage...

Curious what Dell monitor is that?
Also I thought the Desktop connects via 1xDP and 1xHDMI to the HP, how is the MB usinig USB-C connection? Is it connected to the Dell since that HP doesn't have USB-C or do you mean an adapter of some sort? thx

I connect my desktop to a USB-C dock, which has an HDMI out port on it, which connects to the HDMI on the HP monitor.

My desktop connects to HDMI on the Dell monitor, and DisplayPort on the HP monitor.

Wow haven't posted in a huge time, glad this topic is still running!

This is my setup, swapped my beloved 24" 2009 iMac with the M1 Mac mini and a 34" 2k Ultrawide monitor running at 144hz.
I was going make a white build for a PC as well for gaming but you know the situation with graphic cards...

Really well, only thing I’ve done is upgrade to a 1TB OWC NVMe drive. Specs are 12-core 2.7GHz, 64GB RAM, Dual AMD D500’s.

I used to own a cylinder Mac Pro, a base model with D300s. Sold it to buy an iMac 27 i 2017.

Objectively, the iMac is a better fit for my needs, but I miss the cylinder MP. It just felt really high-quality, and looked brilliant. We took it with us to Indonesia, and had to answer all kinds of suspicious questions from airport security.

I ran the Mac Pro with a Samsung UHD TV as a monitor. Here it is with one of my sons gaming on it when he should be gaming on the cheap Windows PC that is on the other desk. (The external SSD was a bootcamp drive that we still use with the iMac.) The desks were designed by me and executed in teak by a local carpenter. They are mirrors of each other, and offer acres of desktop space. They also copy the dimensions of the tables in Apple stores, except that I added drawers and shelves. (The Windows PC is on one of the shelves; our printer is on the other.)

My best friends gave me HomePod minis today. I removed my Bose sound link now and replace it with 2 stereo paired minis. I love it!
You have awesome friends ;D I like that you stick to the white color theme. Also: What lamp is that?
