I'm getting ready for Monterey and Universal Control. Dream setup is to use the M1 Pro as an interface (keyboard + mouse) to do stuff on the iMac pro and on the iPad.

Neat!!
And is that “just” a phone stand or is it also a charger?

Kinda both! It's a stand made by Spigen to put in the MagSafe charging puck. Pretty solid and works great.

what monitor arm is this?

The white one goes in and out of stock on Amazon. Looks like it's back on today!

thanks going to order it. Looks really nice. I have 34" ultra wide acer x34p so hopefully it will stick to it!

I've had mine for about 3 years and it's been working great. The display I'm using is a 35 inch Ultra-wide display so I believe it should work just fine!

how heavy is your monitor? does it tilt down due to weight? mine is around 15 pounds without the stand ofcourse!

Just re-did my desk setup. Tried to clean up my cables a lot (couldn’t hide them all, but I hid almost all of them).

Monitor is a 24" HP x24ih Gaming Monitor (1080p/144Hz). It's connected Via DisplayPort to my desktop for the full 144Hz, and HDMI to my MacBook (for 120Hz).

My MacBook connects via a single USB-C cable to a dock sitting on top of my PC tower (hidden by the Tyrunt). It has a full 60W power adapter + HDMI port built in (and a few USB 3.1s), and my speakers are connected to my monitor. My mouse (Magic Mouse 2 in Space Gray) and keyboard (Keychron) connect wirelessly. I love it, because it means its just one cable to go from laptop to desktop.

I also have my gaming desktop, with a I use a G703 with instead. Still using the same keyboard.

Tell us about this SSD. How much does it cost? What kind of read speeds do you get?
This NVMe was from my previous build with Ryzen.

Speeds are limited by the USB protocol. This is not a Thunderbolt 3 enclosure.

Depending on what USB port you connect, you can get different speeds. USB-A ports are USB 3.2 Gen1 rated at 5 Gbps and USB-C ports are USB 3.2 Gen2 (10 Gbps).

It was 180€ from Amazon back in March.
