Like your style and simplicity. Would you mind sharing which desk and chair you have? TIA!

Thank you so much! I remember coming onto this site when I was 11 and being amazed by people's setups. It feels so good to have worked really hard and earned my own.

The desk I have is the Fully Jarvis. I think it's the second smallest model which is perfect for our tiny apartment. The chair is the Herman Miller Aeron remastered in Mineral Color with Polished Aluminum base.

Here's my current Mac setup. It's got the Mac Pro keyboard on top because the actual laptop heats up so much that I can't actually use the internal one. It's a late 2012 13 inch patched with OCLP Monterey

Does the Studio fit under the screen or is it too high? 30"s are looking still awesome! Have 2 of them and great to work with.
It doesn't fit under it. I have it off to the side.

For those of you wanting to use the 30" with the Mac Studio, make sure to use the Dual-Link DVI -> MDP adapter and then a MDP -> USB-C adapter in series. The USB-C -> Dual-Link DVI adapter caused little strange green sparkles all over the screen. After reverting to the two adapters, things look perfect on it.

I'm curious ... is the other desk running the MBP 2022 model into the PowerBook G4's screen? ;)
Haha, sadly not (if there was a way to do that, I would though).

The big laptop is actually a MacBook Pro 1st gen running Snow Leopard. I wanted to give that a spin because I saw a good price for that on eBay. It's my other project (I will upgrade the SSD and ram), along with the iBook G4 (gonna put 1GB Ram in that eventually). It came with Tiger, but I upgraded it and deleted the previous users' profiles because it was password locked.

And for the other two; I use the iBook for writing (distraction-free writing, and slow, almost lacking web browsing- I like it for that reason) and the MBP Pro 13' is just there for convenience reasons at night (I use that around the house for general tasks at the kitchen table mostly, got a good deal from a family member for that one).

I also have a 2014 Macbook Air 11' knocking around (not pictured) that I occasionally bring that out of storage if I need to copy across old files, or if I want the Sierra Experience.

I think there's something nice about running older versions of Mac OS and using them on older devices as well. And collecting them. Maybe someday I will have a museum, who knows?

Might I suggest an immaculate TiBook G4!
Very rare to find and THESE bad boys were THE precursor to every sexy MacBook Pro going forward (save the 2016-2021 iteration, as that design lost ports).

At some point, I'd like to own a 17-inch one and run Leopard on it. Then I would have the iBook with Tiger, a TiBook with Leopard, and a MacBook Pro on Snow Leopard. I'd like something on Mavericks too. I think they are the sexiest modern operating systems and Mavericks has more support than SL, sadly because it's so old lol.

If Apple ever released any modern Macbook with a 17-inch screen and it had good specs without GPU issues, I would buy it when it went down. I want something that's light and portable with a good-sized screen and doesn't cost a lot and it doesn't need to be Pro. The new Air (15-inch) doesn't look bad, but I want them to make a 17-inch one so bad.

I've still got an AirPort Time Capsule; I've been meaning to power it back up and see if it still works.

Although the boxes may have to go - unless you STILL have all those iPhone models since OG ;)

I definitely respect you have the educational focused Apple Newton eMate 300!!
like WOW ... THAT is a true collectors item!

it predates iMac educational models, iPads and even the iBooks!

I love my iPhone Boxes ! and I do still have my iPhone 3G and 3GS, never had the first iPhone it was never released in Canada when it first came out ... 😥 The Emate I picked up in a pawnshop around 1999 or 2000 or maybe later can't remember😆 , with everything, still works... My only regret is getting rid of the first iMac that came out Bondi Blue I waited in line for that at my local apple reseller , Midnight release ... loved that little machine... yes I'm Old my first Mac was a Color Classic 1992 I think?
