Alright so here's how I generally use my setup:

IMG_2743.jpeg

Here's a different perspective:

Showing how the monitors are all free to be however:

From the back (I get the cable management isn't perfect, but there are a lot of cables):
IMG_2732.jpeg

In movie/game mode. The TV is on a 'mantle mount' that lets it drop when needed:

1670696212265.jpeg

The three screens can go however.

Most have 3 different machines hooked up, but I'm using the M1 MacBook most of the time. Mini at the back is more for streaming if I'm connected to a VPN I don't want to saturate. TV comes down on an arm when you want to play games or whatever.

Frame is a custom steel welded frame. Wired with two independent circuits right back to the panel with outlets embedded in the back of the frame. Networking is provided by a Ubiquiti switch, connected via Cat6 back to a PoE switch. Two dedicated drops to the PoE. Also a Ubiquiti Wifi access point on the wall (the white can thing you see).
Sound is a NAD mounted under the desk connected to SVS speakers/subs.
Gaming provided by AMD in a Sliger mATX case.

Yes it is obnoxious but I sit here all day long and it is my portal to my income, so may as well code in luxury.

Yes I need to clean my closet ;)

That is an insane amount of pixels! Very cool with the welded frame. I know overkill is sort of the point, but with that ultra-wide on the right.. How's your neck? ;)

100% - I had these screens from my last place which had a very different setup. I will eventually replace the screens (other than the vertical U3219Q which I think is a lovely monitor). The ultrawide on the side is non-optimal for sure, and the LG in the middle I just don't like (weird USB issues, colours are poor, and it has a variety of idiosyncrasies I'm not crazy about). The actual frame was only like $600 CND to get done and the place was already getting its 70 year old electrical system replaced so it was just kind of a chance at overkill I had to take.

I have a selection of mount holes for the arms, so things can be adjusted for future changes.

...but it is a very valid observation.

SUPER EXCITED to finally take the plunge and get the Apple Studio and get my setup where I want it.

I also am trying out the Magic Trackpad for the first time as I love the MacBook trackpads. Only part that always hurts is the edge of the desk. Anyone have any solutions? Wrist rests? Edge wrap?

For me a lower desk surface helped, if that is something you can control.

I can't really with this setup so I have resorted to wearing long sleeves and hoping it cuts most of the discomfort out for now. 🤣

My first WFH setup, built it from scratch over past two months. The MVP is my LG Dualup monitor which can display two 21.5" screens via USB-C and HDMI, creating the most compact dual screen setup I could think of (I use it for work with another laptop that actually supports two external monitors...). I'm also pretty committed to my standing setup, using the stool only to take short breaks. Also another great space saver.

Same monitor here, also in use with a standing desk - love it. Thanks to LG for having this great tool on offer.

Put together a new desk. Still got some tidying up to do with the cables. On the right is my work iMac Pro, left is an LG 27-inch UltraFine 5K hooked up to a 2019 16-inch MacBook Pro. This laptop will eventually be replaced by either a Mac Mini (if refreshed and can get 24 or 32GB of RAM) or a base Mac Studio. Still got some work to do with the overall set up of my office space, but its coming along nicely.

And one oerk of working from home is seeing the neighborhood fox chasing squirrels. Had one trapped on one of the beams under the deck. I eventually had to chase the fox off

I love the combination of the wood and the left desk support. Very cool.

Nice... what is the lamp above the upper screen?

Highly recommend! Great for conference calls since I can move the light right onto my face.

Mounting a webcam on the Dualup was a challenge though. I got the Logitech Streamcam which comes with a handy bracket that also attaches from the side. This I mounted onto a flexible arm that’s then mounted on the monitor arm.
