Awesome! Have you ever seen a Dell 3007WFP and 2007FP combo before? Very similar to the ACD apart from the 2007 is 1600x1200 (4:3). Lines up perfectly on both sides down to the millimetre when it's in portrait.
No I don't think so. Do you have a picture which will show them side by side?

The last image has the 2005FP's, however the dimensions are the same.

After 7 years in our house, finally starting to get the office squared away. Still need an end table but close enough. Spent all this money on built ins and they're super shallow and I hate having my back to the door lol. Luckily already had an outlet on the floor, just need to do a better job of routing the power cable. Thanks to thunderbolt, the dock is both display and power so cords are kept to a minimum! After 3 years on a 13" screen, words can't express how happy I am to have the new display, and Apple always makes nice looking stuff.

2020 13" Macbook Pro
Humancentric Dock
27" Studio Display
Orbitkey Nest
Orbitkey Desk Pad
Magic Keyboard and Track Pad (they sent black track pad by mistake, waiting on replacement)

Certainly improved from last summer!

Now all I need to do if figure out how to make the Cinema Display not block the speaker, but that's easy!

Last summer (the horror of using an MG10XU as an audio interface):

What do y'all think? Any suggestions for further improvement?

Not my main setup, but here's my arcade development rig- an original Mac Mini G4 overclocked to 1.42ghz, running OS 9.2.2, with a Windows 2000 Virtual PC 6 "VM", running Multimedia Fusion 2 (a non-coding multimedia creation tool), and networked to a cabaret arcade cabinet that I built (using a 3.0ghz Pentium 4, Windows XP, and an old CRT monitor) so I can test changes in the games that I design. This is strictly a hobbyist endeavor, as I wanted to design coin-operated arcade games as an 80s kid. I also wanted to find a use for the old Mini :)

Apple Studio Max, LG 32UP50S 4K monitor, Vizio SB2020n sound bar, SanDisk G-Drive 18TB external, Magic Keyboard with TouchID and Magic Mouse. The desk is the Jaxon Grey 60" Corner Desk from Living Spaces and the file cabinet is also Jaxon Grey from Living Spaces.
Updated a few things... more photos, moved the wall mounted television down to the right and directly across from my desk, moved the printer and lamp into the corner and added a white board...

"I go outside, I promise..."

Quite a lot has changed in the last couple of months since I posted my setup; I've acquired a few eBay bargains and a new table to store them on. I've also become interested in the PPC world for tinkering, and Early Intel devices as well. It's also given me a new appreciation for Snow Leopard, and a dislike for Lion and El C(r)apitan.

iMac and Apple TV, which doubles up as a second monitor; iPod 6th Gen, Komplete 6 Audio Interface, DVD drive, remotes, cheap MIDI keyboard, Magic Keyboard, and Mouse.

An iMac G5 that I got for a good price to run old software on (that is plugged into an external storage device), Apple Cinema Display connected to my Mac Mini 2012, which is currently being used as a server, mainly; iBook G4 that I still use, that can be plugged into my 3rd Gen iPod Dock (still use that thing), and my Fiio Amplifier which connects to the JBL Speaker. The Fiio's volume knobs can control the iPod and it saves me from having to hit it on to turn it up.

IMG_0666.png

Mac Mini 2012 connected to an Anker speaker, which has excellent sound quality, and my 4TB storage drive to use as a part of the localhost server to store files from my other Macbooks/Desktops in. On top are my iPads (iPad 6th Gen, iPad 1st Gen, and iPad Air 4th gen).

The laptops are my M1 Macbook Pro (which I can also use on the Display), Macbook 2008, which runs Snow Leopard (it actually is using the SSD from the MBP '06, which is disassembled but still works), a Lenovo gaming laptop that's kinda cheap and the 17-inch MBP '09 which is the bomb for watching TV shows in bed).

I've acquired quite a collection, and I will probably end up selling some of them, eventually. I am planning to work on the MBP '06 and try to get it running properly again. If not, I can use it for spares/sell the spares. It's not the end of the world. It still has some pretty good parts left in it that could go to good places.

Recently made some updates to my desk setup. Now the M2 Air is sitting a drawer under the deck. Super convenient to have more space on the desk. Does not run hot or anything. Also posted this in the clamshell discussion.

It helps me stay focused with only one monitor while still being able to easily pick up the Macbook when on the move.
The setup with my height-adjustable desk works great for me with the iPhone dock, an older HP 24" monitor, a Logitech MX Mechanical Mini and the Kensington mouse.

This is the start of my setup. M2 16" 1TB, Cinema Display and my trusted, but currently busted, 2009 Mac Pro.

I still need to connect my speakers and a few other bits, but I'm getting new carpet in the next couple of months so will keep anything I don't need boxed away. Will pos updated pictures once everything is done.

These are some current, in use pics of my set up. Definitely not the cleanest or best its ever been. But between work and family, its just not been a priority lately. Im also planning out an entirely new desk build. So I havent put much effort into making this one pristine. Ill also take better pics when its rebuilt. But these will due for now, are are better than the ones of my old place I posted in Part 19, or 18, of this thread so many years ago.

List of hardware and such is just too much to type out right now. But feel free to ask questions. Hopefully this summer the good old Ikea Jerker, and cheap old TV stand/print/charging station will get retired with some more 'grown up' furniture.

*Nevermind my collection of Govee lights. I may have gone a little overboard on amazon the other day.

Also, I posted these the other day in the "Post your MacMini setup" thread. But this is my, well, MacMini setup in my garage. Also not the cleanest its ever been. But maybe one day soon ill have some time to clean up everything. And I can take new pics.

This is the first time I have seen anyone set up their "office" in their garage. Very nice, but how does climate control work?
