Finally got my desired setup.

Dell UltraSharp U2415 monitor, spare 1080p monitor, 12S Bookarc...

I suppose ports are still important.

EDIT: I wasn't happy with the layout, so here is my new modified shot. I really hate all the wires that are hidden, but they're a necessary evil.

Haha that's super retro! Is that really your actual setup?

Technically yes, I added a second desk to my study and I use the plus for playing music, recording some of my 78's from my gramophone and cataloging them on file maker in addition to some retro gaming / word processing. It sounds out to a bespoke Xserve raid cabinet with a vinyl deck, which in turn is next to my retina iMac. I really like the compact mac look and think it goes well with 60's and 70's era technology :).
 
My Macs have downsized to just one. It is my fileserver, VPN server and Plex Media Server, also for FaceTime chatting.

pls can you tell us what are the two little aluminium squadre under the mac mini ? :D
