Finally got sick of paying the cable company $10 a month for their crappy router/modem, so I upgraded to a 2TB Time Capsule. Great improvement in speed and I can finally get rid of my dying 500GB backup hard drive.

Do you ever find working solely on a 13" display too small or restrictive? Granted, I don't know what you use your computer for.

My current setup rMBP 15"--I prefer separate keyboard, trackpad and mouse and need the screen raised to eye level.

That certainly is a much neater system than the tangle of cables under my desk. You probably even know which plug goes to which device. With us it is by guess and by gollly!

So this arrived this afternoon:

I paid $75 for it. Very, very good shape. It's a 17" iMac G4 1.25GHz; came with an Airport Extreme card and 1.25GB of RAM. It's running Jaguar right now and I have Leopard which should be arriving any day now. It's my 2nd iMac G4 (my first was an 800MHz) and it's pretty amazing to me how much quicker this one is than my last one. This is also in much better shape. Only issue is a small pressure spot on the screen. It'll be my music server and basic web browsing machine. I'll upgrade the hard drive soon and add another 1GB stick.

I fancy that keyboard quite a bit. Nice buy on the iMac and plans for it. Do a follow-up if the setup changes.

I love the old keyboards. They are so easy to type on and feel very solid. I'm looking forward to getting it ready for Leopard later this week so I can get to browsing on the internet.

Everyone has some really sweet setups. I hate to ask this, but could it be possible for some of you guys to submit your Mac setups on my web application too? battlestationwars.com I'm a Mac user, and I would love to have some more representation of Mac setups on my site. Thanks!

Nice buy! I remember grabbing an 800 MHz 15" one around seven years ago for $180 and got a lot of use out of that machine. Having a hard time figuring out what to do with it now, so it has become an ornament next to my dying plant.

I was really in the market for a lime or sage iMac G3 since it would match the color of my room but when I saw this model for $75 I bought it immediately. I paid over $100 for my 17" 800MHz in 2012 and it didn't include the speakers and was in much worse cosmetic shape. I'm pretty happy with the purchase. I'm anxiously awaiting for my Leopard DVD to arrive as its useless with Jaguar right now.

Very clean setup! Can you please share details on the iPad Air 2 dock you are using?

It's the Gravitas from Henge Docks, pricy but a really great product! Has plastic inserts so will work for iPad and iPhone.
