Can't get enough of that keyboard. I like the simplicity of your setup a lot - but that lamp shade with the portion of it that has the seam facing front is bugging me :)
21:9 is the way to go

I ordered an LG 21:9 Display. It might only be 25 inch, but honestly its the best decision I made for my photography work. Content looks stunning on it, the 15 inch rMBP flies, I moved the iMac out of the way for the mean time.

Nice monitor and setup. If you thought 16:9 was a marketing innovation, whoever thought of 21:9 must be living fancy. Less monitor for a higher price. ;)

I think the price isn't too bad. You get more pixels horizontally and go from 1920x1080 to 2560x1080 isn't too bad for $200. :)

Oh, not criticizing the deal at all. Just saying that widescreen in general is in order to sell less monitor for the same or higher price. From corner to corner, a rectangle compared to a square is less area in terms of square inches. You can still say its a "25in monitor" though because the measurement is done between opposite corners. ;)

That is an ASUS 27" 1080p display. I returned it because 1080p at that size is just way too big for me... everything looks oversized. My new Dell 27" 2560x1440 is arriving this afternoon so I'll let you know how it goes.

I play WoW when I can, surprised at how well it runs on the new MacBook. However, now that I am the father of 3 month old twin girls, the WoW time has been severely reduced ;-)

I've stopped playing in recent months, missed my first tier since 2004 with 6.1. I chose to use my very little IRL free time for other things, similar to yourself. Let me know how the Dell works out, I'm looking for a solid partner for my inevitable Fall iMac or MacBook Pro 15" purchase. Right now I'm leaning towards a Dell U2515H or an ASUS PB278Q. I'll tackle the problem of getting all of this to fit on my current desk later.

Update: the Dell u2713h is great. MacBook can drive it at 2560x1440 @60hz no problem. Thunderbolt Display - like quality for under $600
