I need inspiration. Post more setups!

Just hoping the next one is someone that uses cheap particle board stuff like myself instead of awesome fancy "wood" :p
Made me chuckle. My hubby wanted me to get this solid wood desk. I thought it was UGLY and too manly. So I got the cheap particle board stuff. LOL! :D

Looks like I got unsubbed from this thread after the redesign. So, posting to see if I get subbed back. There are changes, though. I took apart my other 20 gallon planted fish tank and modded an Ikea tabletop on top of this little cabinet-thingy to have more table space.

I still have my other 20 gallon planted fish tank as seen in the pic below. This is my PC where I mostly do PC gaming and watching TV via WinTV. I had EyeTV for the mac but I was worried that it caused the laptop to heat up too much, so coughed up a few bucks to get the WinTV USB thingy and, of course, the Dell IPS monitor (a refurb) there is needed to be able to watch TV at the same time that I am gaming. Lol.

Is the monitor the only thing holding that table top in place, or is it nailed/adhered?

No. It's an Ikea laptop table with a single extendable leg and Y-shaped feet. It's too wobbly, especially, on carpet to be used as a laptop table. So, I have it there being supported by the desk to extend my desk space a little bit.

is that harvey on the screen?

It's Steven Metz. Errr, I mean, Matz! Lol! Nice logo!

None taken. Now that you mention it, the angle does look a tad warped.

Note to self - do not take photos from a standing diagonal position?

Did you by chance take this photo with an iPhone 6 or 6+?

I've noticed that my 6 has some serious distortion issues that make things look wonky just like in your photo. It's like it doesn't correct for the wide-angle of the lens, so you end up with things stretching quite a bit towards the corners starting not far from center.

It was taken with a 5s. I don't think it's any problem with the camera, probably just my own inexperience.

Doing some studying for my last resit...
  • MacBook Pro (Late 2011, 13-inch) with a 256GB SSD and 8GB RAM
  • Magic Mouse
  • Bose SoundLink Mini II for some productive beats
  • Study-related clutter

Ah nice mate! Your signature indicates that you have a second MacBook Pro, I'm curious of what model, if you don't mind me asking.

Picked up a 2007 iMac for cheap (couldn't resist) which had 1gb of ram and had OS X 10.5 / Windows 7. Upgraded the ram with a 2gb chip (3GB now) and then the OS to Mountain Lion but kept Windows 7. Connected my E-Blue Cobra Jr mouse, Logitech K750 keyboard and Logitech X120 speakers. So far it's a quick machine and runs great!

Yeah little children's play table I got at Ikea which is a perfect fit for testing older and newer Apple systems. Currently for my new (to me) iMac but was just being used with my 2006 Mac Pro and its dual monitors.
