Edit:
Don't mind the gruesome keyboard, it's truely disgusting to even look at, I think I'll replace it. And the whole setup will get an acrylic polish, any suggestions on what to use are welcome, I was thinking about Novus Polish 1 & 2

What a beautiful yet simple setup ! I absolutely love this era of Apple (G4, retro Cinema Display), it looks fantastic :D
And, if you have the time and the desire, you could simply remove all the key, soak them in a bucket of hot water and javel or something like that, and clean under the key with wet Q-tip
I've done that quite a few times with this kind of keyboard, it works great, sadly we can't do this with newer Apple keyboard (my Aluminium USB get dirty so quick, and it's such a pain in the *ss to clean it with wet Q-tip making sure no water is getting under the key)

I want one and i will get one!

Here's my setup at school these days. I'm a middle school Robotics teacher, and my desk is usually several times messier than these pics :)

Main desk - Late 2009 iMac (3.06GHz C2D, 16GB RAM, 240GB SSD + 500GB HDD, Nvidia 9400m, High Sierra) for the main computer, Late 2012 Mac mini (2.5GHz i5, 16GB RAM, 120GB SSD, HD3000, High Sierra) as a projector slave.

My office - Early 2008 iMac (2.4GHz C2D, 6GB RAM, 128GB SSD, ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT, High Sierra)

Beautiful & working!

Is his the G4 733mhz QuickSilver or the 866mhz model?

This was my first Mac I purchased and learned OSX 10.1 Puma (?) loved the hypnotic “Hum” and built in speaker exposed on the front. Made me think of the then Batman cartoons’ H.A.R.D.A.C.

Thanks! Yeah I already tried opening up and starting to clean but there is some rust on the metal frame and some of the numpad keys aren't working so I'm not sure it's still worth it to go through with cleaning the keyboard..

Thanks! It's a Quicksilver 2002, they came with 800MHz, 933MHz and dual 1GHz CPU's, this is a 933MHz with OSX 10.4 Tiger. I also really like the design of this Powermac G4, more than the non-Quicksilver or the MDD that came after :)

Back in the days this was a setup of $2.299 (Powermac G4) + $3.499 (Cinema HD Display), crazy money he :D

I use windows on a virtual machine to run the local installation of Bloomberg.

I wanted to ask you any issues during initial installation in terms of the keyboard drivers without the need to in-re-install the Bloomberg Keybaord drivers?

Looking to run this myself ... do you prefer a patrullar VM?

Gorgeous! I remember my tech lab in junior high had these. I used to love playing with the optical drive. It was cool how the little door opened. Good times..

A bit messy, but here's my hackintosh setup (The desk isn't that dirty, the paint just goes off)
Really a "ghetto" setup compared to all those you can see up here, but you know, we all should start from the bottom ;))
OptiPlex 780 SFF - Hackintosh
40" Samsung TV
Dell 176FP 17"
iPad 2 as third screen using Duet Display
Crappy Creative Inspire 5.1 5500 and Logitech X230 sound system (sound ok but they are really old and cable start to disconnect from the inside, I had to remove the left satellite from the Logitech cause the wire was messed up) I ordered a new Logitech X506 to replace these, I may keep the sub enclosure tho)
Horn subwoofer enclosure made with an empty speaker cabinets (it really make the bass and infrabass way more deep and immersive, you really feel that the sound pressure increased a lot)
Apple Aluminium USB Keyboard
Logitech M100 Mouse
Xbox One S 500GB

Maybe a bit fast after my last nostalgic purchase but couldn't resist this beauty in near mint condition:

I so much love the kind of warmth of these old LCD's!
It's an iMac G4 from 2002 with 1GHz, 768MB, 80GB and the previous owner (first owner) had the Airport card installed at the time of purchase, nice extra!
