Here's my current setup:

The keyboard, mouse and speakers on top of the desk are all for the Mac Pro.

Slide 'em out, and I have a full setup for my PC laptop.

What kit is that? It looks like the Roland one I've got my eye on.

Yeah, its a Roland TD3. I would really recommend it over any other electric drum kits within that price range. Obviously i would have loved to have bought the TD6, but couln't afford it at the time, although soon i hope to upgrade to the TD6 brain and sell the TD3 one on eBay :p

Edit:

Oh and was the guy who said "PM, please" talking to me of you lol?

<3<3<3<3, love your imac, reminds me of the one im staring at right now:p. now i have 2 imacs to look at. now, im sure you dont have either logic express or garageband, you seem pro, you use logic pro i guess:p. my friend who is like a year younger than you, actually recently joined these forums, uses logic pro, he is insane on the drums, ever since he was a lil critter.

Where did you get that stand your Macbook Pro is sitting on??

...

psst. thats part of the desk:cool:

I'll post this photo here in the new thread too I guess...

<snip image>

Mac Pro - 8 core
8 gig RAM
750 gig HD soon to be accompanied by a 1TB drive, together forming a mirrored RAID.
23" Apple Cinema Display
Mainly used for photography - Aperture, Photoshop CS3, Photomatix Pro, and a bunch of other less consequential stuff.
If I had any sense I would have saved the money and ordered the quad core rather than the 8 core. I don't think the extra cores help all that much for photography post processing.

Unfortunately I configured this machine with a low rent graphics card, and I've been regretting that ever since when trying to run Aperture and so forth, so I'll be getting a better graphics card when I can afford it.

Built in May 2007.

That is probably the coolest setup I've seen yet.

I am going to sound like a big idiot, but I am looking into a nice camera this summer, and I was wondering if you knew what kind of camera he used to get that HDR image. It's beautiful.

His signature says he has a Canon 5D so I'd presume that is what he used. The 5D runs about $2000 on Amazon. You can still get awesome HDRs from lower end SLRs, though. Just check out MR's HDR Thread.
