This is my setup so far, I only moved in last week.
- 1yr old 17" MBP
- Wireless mighty mouse
- iPhone dock and box
- Leads and charger
Taken on 3 day old iPhone.
Unfortunately no. There is only one set of virtual desktops for both monitors. You can't have independent spaces per monitor. I've submitted the idea via Leopard feedback thingy a month or so ago but I didn't get a reply. If you guys like the idea of it you guys should drop them a line too. Maybe with more requests they'll actually look into it.
Is that 1680x1050 or 1920x1200? They should give the 15.4 at least the option. So envious of high res "on the go".
I wish every Mac had the choice to upgrade to a higher resolution.
The MacBook/MacBook Air with 1440x900
The 15" MacBook Pro with 1680x1050
The 17" MacBook Pro with 1920x1200
I guess a lot of people would be happy with that
Gotcha. Thanks for the info, that's what I was looking for.
But being able to have VM Ware running XP on one monitor and my OS X environment on the other but existing within the same space is good enough for me.
I appreciate the assistance...thank you.

Well a MacBook with a 1920x1200 13" screen would be something; of course only if apple and software developers start to make everything resolution independant.
just imagine how crisp everything would look.
Been meaning to post mine for a while:
It took a year to save up for, but is worth every penny!

You can effectively get what you want though by locking VMware to all spaces. In the Spaces preference pane you can specify that certain applications will appear on only one Space or always be visible on all Spaces. If you do that, and then full-screen VMware on your second monitor, it will always be shown on the second monitor no matter what space you're on.

Thought I'd share my setup at school. I just got the Elevator and the keyboard and the combination has really helped alleviate my neck pain while working at the computer for long periods of time. I was also pleasantly surprised by the feel of the keyboard. Very comfortable to type on and has a quality feel.
2.2GHz MacBook Pro
LaCie 250GB external HD
Apple keyboard
Logitech V450 mouse
Griffin Elevator
JBL Creature IIs
8GB iPod Nano
HP C3180 printer
Canon 1D
Panasonic Lumix TZ3
Here's my set up, it's not finished. I want a new mouse, Mybook Studio and a Griffin Elevator.
[stuff]
So, I'm hoping that this picture will be *very* temporary... hehe... I've waited until this year's MacWorld to see if they would release an ultraportable, but I've decided that the MacBook Air isn't for me... so I've decided to get the 2.8ghz 24" iMac... right after I get my tax return, however
In any case, here's my current setup... I also have a drawer underneath the desk that has two 500gb drives and the usb cables for ipods and my DSLR
So, when I get the iMac, the cinema display, isight and older iMac are being shipped off to the office and I'm hoping to get a 1TB Time Capsule... the desk will have SO MUCH MORE ROOM! yay! hehe
Glad to see you've updated your setup to the 2 Denon's now instead of 1 from early last year.
whenever you feel the urge to stop by Toronto, I'll introduce you to a few friends that are mad wicked on the wax (record/cds') !
