I guess I will join in on this..

It's a simple setup with a Samsung 940bw, a few external hard drives, and me hiding the old Cambridge Soundworks speakers. Oh yea, and the ipod....with the JD bottle holding my change.

huh?

We are confusing two people's set ups i think, the one with the two dells and an mbp with a while table, and the dude with the 24 inch imac, and the extra display, who wanted a 32inch, i think.

That would be me, the dude who wanted a 32 inch, who meant 30'', who didn't stop to think if an imac could even support a 30''.

However, if you go back to post# 873, you'll see how that member is pretty sure my 24 is a 20, thats where the landslide started for me.

All cleared up.
:)

Man, I didn't realize those monitors were running on a mac mini!! I thought they were on a mac pro, oh well, at least its not as expensive, what size monitors are those?

They are actually running of a MBP. The mini is used to power a projector and the lcd tv over our bar.

You should see his dorm 1.0 pictures... While this setup is awesome... and equally so to his 1.0 setup, I loved his 1.0 setup.

itsallinurhead - Do you have a pic of it?

Link- http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/6031/mg6252dx3.jpg . This setup is A LOT cooler. I just need to get pictures of it all in action. Plus I got my roomate to switch! yay!. I will shoot some pictures with my DSLR tomorrow of everything running.

Its a great screen so far, very Apple feel from a HP product, still fine tuning the colour temperature, and will be getting a HDMI > DVI Converter (As im using VGA at the moment), but its damned good value.

Does it have a glossy screen? Can't tell from the image. Not too thrilled about the thickness of the bezel though.

You are not the first one to think that. I sent pics of my new place to my grandma. She called me about 15 minutes later asking if it was full...

edit - after seeing s.hoz post - It is a 1.66 core duo and has 2 gb ram jammed into it. I have been HEAVILY debating on tossing in a core2duo...
