Computer Setup

2 ACD 30's, 1 24" Dell 2407WFP. 30's for my Mac Pro and Dell for my PC. I'll post specs up in a few.

I love the back light, what sort of lighting did you use? The setup also looks great. Nice over all setup.

Thanks. There are two tensor lights behind the desk shooting light in the upwards direction.

I got them at staples, but here is the light. http://www.acehardware.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2422240

Are you trying to kill me? That is insanely sexy!!:p

Since when do network cards go into the usb slots?
USB Network adapters.... You were jk though right? ;)

Thats the Sprint Novatel 3G card for Wireless Broadband. It's an everyday thingie for telecom people. :)

Scandalous!

That about sums it up... lol.

It fits... the USB card is a lil thick on the bottom which props the MBA up a lil. I adjust it by using a DVD case or magazine to prop the MBA up.. that way the computer is even and there is no pressure on the card. also its awesome typing with it angled.

Oh my God. If you were to get rid of the 3G thing and both the cables, it would be the sexiest setup picture EVER.

(Please? I need me some wallpaper.)

Next time I'm at the library will snap one for you. I did take one without the power cable.

Sweet setups trancepriest and IC3D!! I want those!

Thanks!

Nice machine. Is this in your dorm or at home? Thanks for sharing. :)

It's a room that I use as a study. Originally it must have been the maid's room in my apartment. Unfortunately, I can only afford an iMac, but not a maid.

The object on the stand is cracked glass pipe, which may have once served as a smoking implement, but now can only serve an aesthetic function.

Heh, very aesthetic indeed. :) Thanks for responding.

Why do you dislike LCD, I wonder? They take too little space, the image is too crisp, they are too good for your eyes and they look too good? Hmm...

#1, a 21" LCD monitor would cost way more then I could afford.
#2, Being that my desk is two level's, I would have to tilt the LCD down to get a proper picture, and it isn't tall enough to do that.

And finally, I firmly believe that CRT's get a better picture when compared to matte LCD's, and the glossy LCD's plastic isn't strong enough to handle the abuse my CRT takes.

My question is, would you still be using an lcd in 5 years?

So, yes, or no?

Sounds like excuses for not wanting to work (to get the money).
