For now, this is my setup;

iBook G3 300 MHz
160 MB RAM
3 GB HDD
CD-ROM drive
Mac OS X 10.3.9

It's not much, but it does everything I need it for.

And as usual, sorry for the bad picture.

Woot! Another Clamshell in action!

I think there should be a Clamshell Liberation Army... :p

Anyway, just bought a 600MHz iMac for $40, including keyboard and mouse. Has 768MB RAM and a 60GB hard drive... Score! :D

...So, how is the desk? sturdy? any cons? and as for the keyboard drawer, can you put that on the long side of the "L"? Thanks a lot, I think this may just convince me to buy it..../QUOTE]

I had that desk once (look through my old pics here) and while I agree it's a decent deal for the $50-$90 you can get it for, it's far from "sturdy". I eventually threw it away because it bowed so much in the middle -- and it never had anything heavier than a few LCDs on it. Still, not bad for a cheap desk.
I can see how it would bow. With only that flimsy strut supporting it, but as I said, it is surprisingly sturdy. I didnt expect much from a desk less than 100 dollars, but if I see any bowing the the central curve, Ill cut a support tube from some aluminum and place it under.
Should help.

8gb Ipod Touch
MacBook (2.4ghz w/2gb ram)
22" Samsung Syncmaster hooked to HP-M8100n w/Vista
BlackBerry Pearl (8100)
Logitech G7 (best mouse I've ever owned)

Really don't do much on the PC now that I got my MacBook except watch movies. Never really liked vista since it came out. Got my MacBook about 4 days ago and it's probably one of the few things I've ever bought that I have NO regrets about.

What is sitting under your monitor? (Is it the peripheral to the mouse?)
Looks like someone likes transformers!! Definitely a solid movie

I've had the infamous logic board problem on the white G3 for a very long time, and it finally gave it up about 4 days ago (I'm surprised it lasted this long; that thing was a fighter! :))
10.3 was a lot smaller than 10.5

Still, I doubt its smaller than 2 GBs O_O

BTW, Cassie, if your camera sucks, shoot in brightly-lit room during day. Just a tip.
According to Finder, the total installation size is 1.3 GB.

Fair enough, here's a (very slightly) better picture. :)

yeah the G7 comes with 2 rechargable batteries. The thing sitting under the monitor is the charger with a battery in it and the little USB piece. It's plugged in to the desktop. Very handy because I can leave it plugged into the desktop and just pull out the little piece and slip it into the MacBook and use the mouse for it as well.

Yes, I never really was a huge fan of the old transformers until the new movie came out. Plus those wallpapers just look awsome.

I also have a Garmin Nuvi 250W but it was in the car and a Cannon Powershot SD300 Digital ELPH (kinda old, only 4.0 MP). I have lots of little goodies laying around the house.

I love those Clamshell iBooks! They make me wish that I switched to Apple when they were just released.

fully completed setup WITH PICS!!!

Well guys, I made the switch from PC to Mac last October, and haven't ever been happier. I've finally completed my realistic dream setup. You can view all of the pics, along with the hardware listing here, on my Flickr photostream...

You may not think thats much, but I have a lot of stuff mounted to the underside of my desk to hide wires. Please ask questions if you have them!

I think that, when you're replying to a setup thread, there should be a dialog box that pops up and says ''it's Fliqlo''. :)
