My Mac Pro setup at home.

@Antimatter; with your MacBook just over the Xbox360 - if both are running at the same time you're going to have a Overheating issue with either. Due to them being so close to the wall, and no cool air??

Nice setup btw.

Yes I know. I'm going to be using them conservatively for a while to see how they like each others company. I'll let you know how hot everything gets.

Thanks

Alright Prom1, I just played a free for all match of Call of Duty 4 (I won by the way:cool:) I checked my temperature of my MacBook before I turned on my Xbox and it was 54 degrees Celcius. After the match it was 53 degrees. I was playing music on my MB the whole time.

I think I have my Xbox pushed back far enough that it doesn't affect my MB. I'm still going to take it slow but so far it's looking good.

There's still my Xbox though, the fans on my MB push out the hot air almost directly on it, so I don't know about that.

SETUP CHANGED!

If you remember I had a Mac Mini, 2.0Ghz, 80Gb, running Leopard.

Now I've upgraded to this beast:

iMac 20", 2.4Ghz, 2Gb Ram, 500Gb HHD, Leopard.

New desk too :)

What's the images/screensaver on your iMac's screen? Linky to whatever it is?

Nice setup!

But what happened to the mini?:(

Hey thanks,

About that pretty graphic on the screen, it's one of two pictured, it's iTunes' 'Jelly' & 'Lathe' (lathe pictured on pic 1 & 2 above - 'jelly' pic 3 in iTunes) visualizers on Leopard. (In iTunes > View > Visualizer > Jelly/Lathe/Stix -- All very photographic ;))

The Mac mini is now downstairs serving as the 'family' mac. Don't worry, we never sold or trashed it, it's less than 8 weeks old. :)

Haha, my SR MacBook just, like, died trying to do that.

Makes good screenshot wallpaper though!

Here's my MacBook hooked up to a 20" Samsung LCD. I will probably get an mStand or an Elevator to make more room on my desk.

It's only a matter of time when you knock that drink and it destroys all your cool toys.

Like your setup man, how do you have the Xbox hooked up to your mac? Through eyetv? I tried playing ps2 through eyetv composite and it was horribly laggy.
