I downloaded that clock thing, but just for the hell of it. If i'm not on the computer, it's in sleep mode.

Why waste my screens life on a "screen saver", kind of an oxymoron if you think about it.

Agree.

I just have mine [screen] turn off after XX minutes.

So much energy is wasted leaving it on. Screen life, cost of electricity, cost of CO2 warming the planet etc...

The noise that comes out of those speakers must be mental!!

Only if it's Britney Spears that you're playing.

...or you could be increasing it by reducing power/sleep cycles. The bulbs in a screen can only be turned on/off for a set number of times before they wear out.

Here's my current setup, which is very bare-bones. Behind that desk is indeed a sliding door. My place is pretty small so I'm limited with my options, but I'm going to be moving it all downstairs and changing the setup in preparation for the arrival of my new iMac :D

You need to put the image somewhere that is accessible over the web, not on your own hard drive. Use photobucket, imageshack or the 'manage attachments' option in the reply screen.

Tight space, beat-up desk, cluttered setup. I'm looking for a new desk at some point soon.

I went with the iMac because notebooks turned out to be much more fragile than desktops. Also, I love screen real estate (this is a 24").

The mouse, as already pointed out, is on the far right. Let me just throw this in here - the MX Revolution is by far the best mouse I have ever used, ever. Definitely recommended. As for richthomas' comment: I love keyboard shortcuts, I only use the mouse for stuff like PS. I grew up with a DOS computer, so I basically live on the keyboard.

I would love to put up the wallpaper, but I don't have a link to the original and I removed the watermark in mine for aesthetic reasons, so posting my version would be highly unethical. I do believe that I found it on deviantART. Search there, it's well worth the try either way.

Here is mine.

Nothing special compared to most of your setups.
