He opened himself up for discussion when he included himself in the picture, just sayin. Either way iMark, I love the iMac and that room is gorgeous.

I'm glad he posted the whole picture, because it really does show a great room with its own feel. I like the furniture, the floor, the whole bit. It's just a shame that some people couldn't appreciate that and had to be jerks.

Sorry so messy - I am actually very particular about keeping things tidy. I've got a mac mini (2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo,2GB 667 DDR2 SDRAM - 2x1GB,160GB Serial ATA drive, SuperDrive 8x DLrunning) running the 22" Westinghouse LCM22W3 (which has been surprisingly a great monitor that they had miss marked at Bestbuy 1 day for $169.99 "I bought 2") :D, the printer is a HP C4280 All-in-one, 560GB of storage between the 3 Lacie drives (which have been rock solid for me, not sure why they have such a bad wrap.... 3+ years running strong), Klipsch 2.1 Media speakers that ROCK!!, and the Macbook Pro 15" (2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo,2GB 667 DDR2 SDRAM - 2x1GB,160GB Serial ATA Drive@7200rpm, SuperDrive 8X) that is a road warrior - takes a beating and keeps on ticking (but not a bad hard drive kind of tick :p).

You know what you need? A phone.

Actually I do appreciate the way the room looks. Nice hardwood floor, bay window, and a great view. Wish I had a house and not an apartment. At no point did I intend to make my post an insult. Just an observation.

The BB is the only one I am using right now, the razor I have not turned on in over a year, and the treo is a back up that I keep up to date regularly so if I lost my BB I would still be able to keep on moving. Had the iPhone but got rid of it, but most likely going to get the new 1 next month.

I know how that goes. I have my current iPhone, which I won't upgrade unless something earthshattering comes in the new 3G model. I'm 50 miles from anything that even resembles 3G.

I used to carry the cellphone for work, my phone, and when a buddy needed it, I'd carry their workphone overnight as well.

A Mac user in a Windows world. :)

I have many of the same books on my shelf. It would be an interesting thread to see how many techies are on this forum and what certs they have.

I was applying for a Linux system administrator position the other day and hadn't thought about my certifications for a long time. I've spent a good chunk of my life in the books.

Haha Nice.. i know what you mean. I've spent more time than i'd like to remember face first in those books. I had to give up on the PC at home because technology was becoming less play and more work. My Macbook Pro is slowly bringing the hobbyist in me back out ;)

I think truthfully when the new 3g phone comes out if there isn't anything really worth while features I will buy 1 of my friends old phones for cheap and just do the software update. There is enough wifi around where the speed of the connection is not that critical.

Yeah, I know, but every time I think about upgrading I keep reading on MacRumors of something better just around the corner...

My Mini is my browsing and goofing off computer. When the new Mini finally comes out, this one will become the Time Machine / iTunes server.

My PC is solely for investment and doing my financials. If Office 2008 / iWork 08 weren't so heinous, I could do this on my Mini, but no.

My gaming rig sits lonely in the corner, since it gets turned on once a week anymore. When I finally land a job, this one will turn into an overpowered Linux server for getting my technical edge back.

I'm really looking forward to 2.0. There will be some amazing applications. I really want to see how a Skype client works. I don't use many minutes, but I just think the concept is incredible.
