Excuse the mess...pictures were taken on Sunday after I finally finished moving in my dorm room.
Note: The TV was on XM radio so that explains the picture.

Quoted from Kuefer page 31 setups part 5

I know I'm one part and like 40 pages late, but that's amazing. Shame on the people who posted negative comments obviously out of jealousy. It must feel pretty great sitting down to that whenever you want. I am currently setting up my humble home office, which should be done in a couple days. I will post pictures afterwards, although it doesn't come anywhere near the ballpark of your setup. So sweet man!

Wow, I completely missed that one! That set up is insane! The mods should be breaking this thread up more often...it gets so long and you completely miss some great setups by only looking at the last page because the thread is so long.

Wow! I wish I had a setup like that in my dorm. I'll be pumping an old 1st Gen Macbook connecting to an external LCD. I'll hopefully have pics up in the next few days after I move in.

I *really* wish I would've been able to afford a new iMac this summer. :(

Thank you.

Just in case you care...
This will be my third year so I was not fortunate enough to start out this way. My MacBook is a first generation and I only got the iMac because I have made the Dean's List every semester. Plus, my birthday is on Tuesday and the first TV I had was some old ancient one, to a very small LCD (15"), to a bigger one (26") and now this one (40").

I am taking 19 hours this semester and working about 8 hours a week so I won't be able to take FULL advantage of what I have.

I'm already getting overloaded and it's only the first day...

BTW, Nice new Dell monitor.

Hooking your MacBook up to a display will be awesome. I did that last year with my 26" TV.

@ DJMastaWes,
How do you like that HP monitor? I saw them at Sam's the other day and they seemed to have pretty good color.

Love it, nice and modern.

Got to have your wall paper, DJMastaWes.

It's alright, but the colors are a little off, and glossy isn't for me. I'll be upgrading to an ACD once the new ones come out.

You see the little white shelving unit under the desk (to the left). Both are sitting side by side on top of it.

Thanks, I appreciate it! I'm really enjoying it so far! ... No dead pixels from what I can tell, and the backlight is pretty even. Plus, I'm LOVING the 1920x1200 resolution- even though my Macbook is having a *little* trouble running it; though it should be fine for simple computing.

You've managed to get yourself a very nice setup in the last few years! Looks really nice. Unfortunately, my setup has actually gotten progressively worse; I've been forced to sell my PSP, DS, Wii, iPod, some cameras and whatnot just to keep myself in school. I'm taking 17 hours this semester with about 15hrs/week of work, and I'm sure it's going to kick my @$$. I'm *hopeful* that I manage to save up more next summer and get myself a new iMac.

In any case, I'm just on the pity-pot recently  It'll work itself out; nice setup! ;)

I admire your hard work.

Everything does work itself out in the end...just remain being optimistic and you will get everything you want in the end.

Work hard now (college) and play later (life).

WHOA!

That's a pretty sweet setup.

I have the same iMac that you do. Good luck with college and I don't blame you for setting all your cool stuff up...I did the same with mine and my college is 2 hours away too.

What's your major?
