Here is my setup at school. Its not exactly easy to fit it all on a college desk and still have room to do work! Plus I can't bring in my own furniture since I still live on campus this year. cable management=impossible...I added some pics of my custom apple cube I just finished making. Let me know what you think. I use the VAIO on the far right for some programs I need to run for my comp. engineering classes. a.k.a. I don't have any money to buy another license for XP to put on my MBP...otherwise I would sell that thing in a heartbeat and put the money towards a Macpro.

Loving the modded cube, I always loved the classic logo but still like the current logo because it's backlit. Too bad there was never a backlit classic logo straight from Apple. Looks like a lot of equipment to have at school, hope your doors lock better than ours do

Haha, no kidding!

Oh, and don't forget to get out every now and then. It looks like you have the world at your hands there, but it's true what they say (mostly) - college is the best time of your life.

Thanks! The cube took me some time...mostly to get the money together. And I couldn't really decide what color to make the apple but I couldn't resist the classic look. It just works so well with the rest of the cube. Doors lock pretty well our common room door has a deadbolt! :)

Im on a D1 swim team so getting out is a once a week thing(If I am lucky):(

But when we do we make sure we have fun:D Having all this stuff on my desk makes for a great distraction from Calc III work...;)

Phone pic before some new paint goes on the walls...

I'd like to get the wireless keyboard, but I don't know if I can justify the price though. How different does it feel to type on from the original aluminum keyboard?

Absolutely, that box is really cool. You should sell the idea to Griffin or something -- I'd love to buy an Elevator-type stand that has a compartment under the laptop itself with space for all the ugly cables, plus a built-in USB hub.

It's basically the same minus the large directional buttons and number pad (and F13-19 keys).

I like the printer on a box. I think we really need to start seeing more expensive electronics on boxes - any way you can unmount the iMac from its base and lean it up against some cardboard?

Now that'd be a sweet setup.

LOL, its like people who buy big expensive houses then can't afford to put furniture in them! hahaha "We gots a big expensive house but nowheres to sit"
